Terza Rima is a type of poetry consisting of 10 or 11 syllable lines arranged in three-line.
Example:
Ode to the West Wind by Percy Bysshe Shelley
O wild West Wind, thou breath of Autumn's being, Thou, from whose unseen presence the leaves dead Are driven, like ghosts from an enchanter fleeing
So here are the rules:
~Terza Rima's must be completely Original which means no Plagiarizing. ~There can only be 1 submission per user ~The same user is not able to win twice in a row ~Even if the same user who won can't win.. doesn't mean they can't enter ~Must be submitted before the actual deadline for the contest ~It has to fit the theme
This will always last 1 week.
The deadline is February 27th and most Contests will start on the weekend.
This weeks Theme is The Desert and I am still in the process of asking for a merit to the winners.
These people fill my life with endless joy Colorful garments fall flat on their bodies Hugging their curves like a mother hugs a boy The windless, endless night brings me to my knees Surrounding me in a blanket of silence Forever I lie, crying, but no one sees
This Terza Rima tells a sort of story, so don't think it's inconsistent xD
A day with you, my love, is swift to pass, As Mercury's most ephemeral days. Your sweet scent, my love, is just like the gas Of Venus, which doth make this heart ablaze. Your kiss is full of wat'ry life, like Earth, Whose oceans rise and fall with tidal phase. Your breasts, I liken, for what they are worth, To Olympus Mons on Mars, how they tower so: Who knows, when we send probes, what they'll unearth! Your rounded eyes are beautiful to show Like Jupiter's majestic Great Red Spot, Or, in a fit of passion, I bestow A ring fit for Saturn to scheme and plot.
Uranus...let's not go into there, please...
Your flaws, my love, are distant as the dot That we call Neptune, which stays in the freeze Where intruding Pluto won't bother us. Such is the way my love has been appeased.

Plantinum TEEHEEGIRL 123!!!!!!
Flag I am Mercury, the closest to the sun. I'm the sun's favourite, because of my craters I stand my ground proudly, I won't try to run. I am Venus, the hottest planet of all. I'll astound you with my amazing beauty. Like a lady, I will stand straight and tall. I'm Earth, you probably recognize me. My water is the lifeline for all of you. One of my creations is a simple tree. Mars is my name, and I simply must request, That you stop crashing your probes on my land! Your hopes for discovery make me so stressed! Jupiter, I'm the plumpest,(not fattest!), one. The Great Red Spot is where I hold all my rage. I'm always angry, the storm's never done. Saturn, I am, I take pride in my rings Over a thousand I have, never too much. Who knows what they're made of, dust, dirt, other things? Uranus, I'm always sleeping on my side. Wake me up and be drowned in helium. You better believe me, planets never lie. Neptune, named after the god of the sea. I am jealous of Saturn's many rings I wish I had more but I'm grateful for three I am Pluto, the tiny planet child, Have you heard of Snow White and The Seven Dwarves? Well, I'm the eighth one, that likes to run wild
-I also tthought this was great.I liked how you were being the planets.
Well there you have it.Last time I judged teeheegirl was last, this time she was first.
