Terza Rima is a type of poetry consisting of 10 or 11 syllable lines arranged in three-line.
Example:
Ode to the West Wind by Percy Bysshe Shelley
O wild West Wind, thou breath of Autumn's being, Thou, from whose unseen presence the leaves dead Are driven, like ghosts from an enchanter fleeing
So here are the rules:
~Terza Rima's must be completely Original which means no Plagiarizing. ~There can only be 1 submission per user ~The same user is not able to win twice in a row ~Even if the same user who won can't win.. doesn't mean they can't enter ~Must be submitted before the actual deadline for the contest ~It has to fit the theme
This will always last 1 week.
The deadline is February 27th and most Contests will start on the weekend.
This weeks Theme is The Desert and I am still in the process of asking for a merit to the winners.
Wait a minute, I was thinking of something for this here, but I'm seeing inconsistent formats, I thought Terza Rimas were written in A,B,A B,C,B C,D,C and so on, the first and third lines rhyming with the middle line in the last group?
Well I have been informed by Carlie that there is now gonna be a merit for the winner each week. It'll run from Sunday to Saturday so that's enough time for people to get in there poems.
So am I judging this one?Still want to.
If you want then yeah, but make sure to give constructive criticism not just a sentence saying you liked it.

A Is supposed to rhyme with A. B is then supposes to rhyme with the next verse with 2 b's.
And so on. I think I know what you're trying to say. Yes it's like that basically. The first and third line rhyme with the middle of the previous verse.
pHacon: Yes, that is true. Different stanzas do not cancel the rhyme scheme, it passes on to the next stanza.
Exactly. xD
The actual deadline.. just to fix this up a bit is now gonna be:
