I recently saw on tv a man who claims he knows the best way for a human to develop, more physically then mentally in this case. He says that humans working out on a machine are exercising in a way humans weren't meant to, by doing repetitive movements and running in a strait line, he says that by throwing stones and doing cave man like activities, and eating raw meat and vegetables, he is being more healthy, do you guys think this actually works?
I would think that it would kill his arms to throw those rocks without stretching first. He may throw it the wrong way and injure himself, and then what does he do? A man who wants to be a caveman isn't going to seek medical attention in a modern hospital.
I agree with that in some ways. Someone may grow stronger from throwing stones, but they have alot larger of a field of exercise through machines. Also, the eating of meat doesn't make you healthy.
In "Caveman" days, the average life expectancy ranged from 18-33. There's a reason why we live longer. We have medicine and diverse knowledge of vitamins, nutrients, minerals, etc. We also have shelter and civilization.
I can't stand Primitivists. They want to go back to the days of the caveman because life was simpler. Yes, it was. It also sucked. Disease, starvation, constant war, facing the harsh weather, wild animals and many other problems was all common.
