I know that a lot (maybe even most) of the users here on Armor Games are American based, but I still would like to talk about the upcoming Formula 1 Championship this year!

Who is likely to become champion 2010 with the drivers?; Which team will be champion 2010?; Which rookie team will be doing great in 2010?; What driver will not fullfill the promiss to do great?; What's the best/most beautiful Grand Prix for this year's calendar of F1?; What Grand Prix would you visit if possible?; Etc...

So if there's anyone on Armor interested in this cool, fast and challenging sport... speak up!! =D

Well, this will be a tough year to decide.

Mclaren has the last two years world champions Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button and with their new vehicle the MP4-25, they seem to be a really tough competition.

Ferrari has Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso. Their car seems fast, I bet they'll want to win this year's F1, after their dry runs.

Lotus is back after so long Though, once they races begin we'll probably know how well are they prepared for F1, after so long.

I think the shocker for me was Mercedes joining the fray with Micheal Schumacher. Their car, the W01, seems to be very sturdy and aerodynamic and with Nico Rosberg also joining the team, I think this year in F1, will be quite memorable.

Lets put it this way, Michael Schumacher is the only driver that I know, so I have to say him.

Sebastian Vettel is an up-and-comer, and Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa are favorites. But I think Vettel will win it. He had five wins last season, and at 22, he's gaining experience and overcoming new obstacles every time he races. If not in '10, he'll win in '11.

Since I'm a big fan of 'Schumi', I only hope that he will become champion this year and point out to the critics that he is, once and for all, the best driver out there! =)

But reality tells me that he has a new car and still has to adjust to the team and the car, making it virually impossible for him to continue his winning streak of the beginning of this decade...

Drivers I see as a potential candidate for this years championship are Vettel, Massa, Alonso and Hamilton. Allthough the last one dissapionted last year by being too irradic and off focus from time to time, making him an driver who's results don't back up his tuff talk...

We'll see what it gives, but exciting it will be this year, for sure! =D

Schumacher is always very quick and he has the spirit of a winner, but he is quite old and he hasn't raced in ages, so I don't know if he can do well during all the season.
I think that Alonso will win the championship this year, he really wants be crowned champion this year.

That's because you live in the US.

Anyway, I'd like Schumacher to win but he's old so I don't know how he'll do. Aside from him, either Alonso or Vettel.

It's on TV as a major headliner here in Europe every Grand Prix!

They clear out the whole TV scedule for this to report live!
Much like they would for basketball or baseball in the U.S.!
Or (to compare in racing terms) for NASCAR...

It's really huge over here! And it's exciting to watch! =D

First stop this year: Grand Prix Bahrein this sunday!

Will 'Schumi' show them all how good driving is done? =D

Well... I'll be giving a short comment on what I thought of the opening Grand Prix of this years Formula 1 season and then let's see what you guys think... =)

I thought the Bahrein Grand Prix was a little flat with some excitement here and there, but not one to give me a 'WOW! That was GREAT!' -feeling after it finished...

The problem of not having the cars refueling in this years F1 season, seems to show itself immediately! All the cars were making the same lap times at some point in the race (2 minutes +) and that made it a little dull to watch...

Allthough the final race result was something not expected before I started watching, I think it wasn't all that surprising to see the guys finish in that order...

#1 Alonso
#2 Massa
#3 Hamilton
#4 Vettel
#5 Rosberg
#6 Schumacher

Since the Ferrari was expected to be quick, it's not more than clear that they would finish in the top 3, only when they wouldn't have any major mechanical problems during the race that is...
Shame for Vettel that he missed the podium while looking good for the win at the starting of the GP! He had a stroke of bad luck there, next race better I hope, since he deserves it! =)

Too bad Schumacher couldn't impress with the Mercedes Brawn, but I think we WILL be seeing more of him during the next couple of races! The fact that he finished 6th in a (relatively) new car after 3 years of abcense, is something worth keeping an eye on! =D

I grew up in the age of Schumi domination so for many years of my life I knew nothing except Schumi as World Champion so I've always supported him lol So I really hope he does well this year after almsot coming back last year.

After watching the first race I think Vettel is the person to beat but it's far too early too tell; everyone will improve especially when we get too Europe.

As for the rule changes this year I think it'll take a few races to get into the swing of things. Yes Bahrain was quite boring but it had it's moments and hopefully the season will improve.
