There used to be an AG Regulars' Lounge thread in the Tavern, though that's long gone.

Do you want a place to talk about pointless things and screw around? That's what a "random" section is for.

I remember an old thread about adding a forum where anyone could spam useless things. That got shot down.

Why would we want to degrade this site with a section devoted to rubbish? And anyway, all random topics which aren't meaningless, go in the Tavern.

I understand what you try to say with the lounge, and I agree. Armour games forum can be, if you allow me to say, a bot uptight. This is understandable, this is a serious page for serious people. But a more relaxed forum would be good. To ease the mood.

Lounge, I don't think we should have it. As stated before, we had suggestions that was a spam forum, which was turned down, due to spam being one of the serious rules of AG. And I think Lounge would really lead that way. If not, then it will be like the Tavern.

If you want to get to know people, talk to them in their profiles, look at the newcomer's forum etc.

The oxford dictionary says it's an underground container for temporary storage of liquid waste or sewage. Kind of fitting for the tavern...

There were abandoned quite some time ago, so it would be better to use an IM like MSN.

I really see no point at all in this, and I still want a chatroom on ag so badly. It would be a lot easier to talk to people.
