There are a plethora of forums but even in the Tavern there is no place to simply relax. And please don't even try to say that the newcomers forum is applicable...
Meebo chat was embedded into ArmorGames with a link next to Community. When you entered it, it automatically copied your name and armatar without you having the ability to change it. I went on the actual site so i had the ability to change those two things while people on the Armorgames.com one didn't.
To get back to the original topic of this thread: I think what Balerion means with a 'Lounge Forum' in his OP, is the same thing the 'Newcomers Forum' is for...
A place where you can randomly post and get to know the other users on AG, right?
So it's already in place, but without the AP's benefit, so there! Problem solved and back on topic!
You are more than welcome to revive the AG Regulars Lounge (I will make a necro exception ;-) ), or to make a similar thread. As far as making a new forum section as a lounge however, I don't really see how it would work entirely well. Like it or not, the Tavern is the place for conversational threads, or those lacking a category. If we made a lounge forum, it would encompass the same sorts of threads, and probably eventually adopt the same state as the Tavern.
If one is made, then I would come and go a few times as well. Maybe a mod could make it and sticky it. Only if they want to of course...
Well... Carlie already suggested in one way or another (a few posts back) that it could be made, so if there's such a big need for one, let her make one and sticky it! =)
This way it's made by an official AG admin and can be guided by the official AG rules! Always better to have it this way!
