i went to gamestop to sell battlefield bad company for halo three. they were only willing to give a cheap amount of 10 dollars... i actuallyy feel betrayed by one of my best stores and my friend was also willing to sell his psp and were only going to give him 15-20 bucks.. how cheap.
I feel sympathy, but you got to understand: This is a major company that needs to make a profit. What you see in used xbox360 games go for 10-30 dollars (with new games the original price), and so if you sell a game that is pretty old, they have to be able to make some profit over it. Your BFBC game gave you 10 dollars, they were probably going to put it on the shelves for double+ the price. I don't like it either, but that's how companies prosper.
Semi-related, for Christmas I bought a Wii-Motion+ as a gift and paid $10 more at Gamestop than I would have at Best Buy or Wal-Mart. I will always price check anything I plan on buying from now on at that store because of it.
well beggers can't be choosers. you want to sell your games and they will only give you a small amount for it. the only other place is ebay or a yard sale. or one of your friends...
Yeah, just sell them at school, don't bother with Gamestop. I sell everything I don't want at school, I've even been selling my lunch sandwiches and bringing something else to eat.
I occasionally go there to find any really cheap old gems of games. Ebay is good for that, I guess but Gamestop is faster.
Yeah, they've got to make a profit. What, you thought they were going to give you $30? This is corporate America, they aren't going to give you that much for a used game they can only sell for half that.
