Ummm.... AG, why are trying to sell "Healthy cigarettes" and "electronic cigarettes" to 11-15 year old boys? It sorta bugs me, and I think its showing the wrong message.
Cigarettes don't kill you either... but only when you don't light them! Ok, ok... unleeeeess, they are loaded on a big truck that hits you 'face on' at a 100 miles an hour... LOL
To get back on topic: *clears throat* ahum...
The fact that the ads are there is something 'really not done', but I believe Carlie for 100% when she says Armor Games has nothing to do with these ads, at least knowingly!
Could very well be that the advertisement company has a contract with Armor Games to provide advertising to them, but that the actual ads are offered by a third company that has the agenda alongside the particular advertisements... know what I mean...?
The web in this matter can get so complicated that you may never know where the particular advertisement is coming from...
Only action Armor Games can do in this is to research the problem at hand. And then they can contact the company that they made the contract with and 'slap them in the whrist' for this behaviour, providing it is real and not an early april's fool...
And something tells me Armor Games will do the right thing in this, without any doubt whatsoever! =D

Spyware?
I have never seen those in any game I've played, or any Ad I've seen on this site.
DAN! Pump up the Ads! Make the site even more amazing, but not pre-game ads, before the game evens loads, you know what I mean, the ads before the games on AddictingGamees.com, never do that.
I think we should all know that AG doesn't have much control over what the advertisers put up there. At least it's not porn.
It's not that they don't have any control over it. AG does make sure to review what is posted on the site. But there are a lot of different ads that get cycled, so there are sometimes a few that get through.
So as a smoker, you regret starting? Maybe that's what needs to be on adverts, not 'healthy' alternatives.
Yes I do regret ever to have started with smoking... now I'm stuck with it! I've been trying to pump myself up to have enough will to 'be a man and quit'... :S

Exactly what I thought... AG overlooks, but can simply NOT see everything going on on the website, thus the advertisement companies have a small loophole to push their ads through... but AG will correct any mistake happening, as I said, without doubt! =D
If anyone can get a screenshot of this ad, it would be most helpful. It is much easier to locate the ads and get them changed when we know what we are looking for.
My previous job was working in a high-traffic online advertising platform, and I can tell you that moderating ad content is extremely difficult. We certainly don't want ads like that catered to our audience! We can, however, contact our ad trafficker and alert them that this kind of content is inappropriate for our audience. Still, Cenere is correct that more and more advertising is using "behavioral targeting" to show you ads related to other sites you visit.
I doubt that the trafficker actually has an account, because traffickers are usually traffickers to make money, not to play games. They don't have administrative powers, nor do they have any reason to sign up in the first place. To them, Armorgames is just more business.
Well, cormyn gave us a bit of a relief there, but somehow I already thought this action was taken behind the scenes... it's just something we 'normal' users don't notice because it's done... 'behind the scenes'! =D
I just hope someone comes across the advertisement and is alert enough to make a screen shot of it and sends it to the admins!
not exactly... there's advertisements to dating sites that have pornography on them, and there's an advertisement with a girl in a bikini with the boobs, and the... crotch glowing and it says "create your dream woman" or something like that.
