What is the CLOSEST youve ever come to a major game over? All systems.
Mine was when I was playing Need For Speed Carbon:Own The City on PSP. The other dude and I both had a total race time of 3:50 but by some miracle I guess I won because the Lamborghini I was driving was slightly longer..
In WoW (oh those were the days) I remember my first run in Upper Black Rock Spire. We were on the last boss (I forgot his name). It was my first run, I was a lvl 58 warlock. Every SINGLE other person in our group was level 60.
We went at that boss and we fought a hard battle. Everytime we dented the boss' HP one of us would fall.
Eventualy, as one of us fell one by one, me and a shaman were all that remained. The dragon we fought was weakened sevearly but all hope seemed to sink to the mud when the shaman fell.
I ran like hell with less than 2000 hit points left. A single blow from the boss could have taken me out. BAM I am hit and have around a mere 1000 hit points. I look at the boss' HP and I can hear my fellow guildies on ventrillo. Some of whom were ready to accept defeat the others chearing me on. BAM I am hit again and have nearly half a thousand hit points left.
I look at the boss' hp and only one of my DOTs remained, slowly taking a mere 45 hp from him at a time.
All that time, the planning, we were going to have to restart the whole fight... and the boss had less than 1% health! I awaited the final blow that would mean defeat and I hear the agonizing yell of defeat. I look behind me to find the Dragon dead.
I, the only one new to the dungeon, the only lvl 58, a clothy, a warlock. I who had barely any more chance of survival than a healing priest whos mana was gone... was the only one to live.
Sadly since the expansion pack, I have only gone downhill, but thats a whole other story.
ah! yes now i remember. i was playing guitar hero 3, dueling that one goat like dude. 1 more note and i would have lost, then i went all mega guitar superstar style on him, got like a 300 note streak and won.
In Kingdom Hearts 2 I was fighting Sephiroth on Proud Mode. He had only two bars of hp left and i almost had my mana back to kill him with Trinity. Knowing this, I got cocky and didnt notice him start using Sin Harvest. I didnt stop it and I lost all the mp I gained back and my hp was down to 1, and i forgot to bring that many items so i was out already. I couldnt beat him with regular combos so i was running and jumping like hell. 3 minutes later my reflexes working at top gear i got my mana back, got in close with Sephroth, and hit him with i face full of trinity attack, he died in 10 seconds. If i waited another moment to use the attack he was going to cut me with his sword. And then i got the second best Keyblade in the game, Fenrir.
Well i was playing oblivion on pc and i had forgot to save while i was cave exploring and i found a cave of like super trolls and so i ran out of cave to the nearest city and the guards took care of it after that.
Oh i remember another 1!lol on sonny i was lyk pwning 3 elites with my smash and all of a sudden they killed my healing guy and then they kept on pwning me but i used iron skin like 7 times and because i had a focus regain for like 10 every turn i managed to pwn em for like 7k dmg
i was close to that boss area 3 sonny he had 20 HP and then he healed even as a lv 23 i couldnt beat him since my mana pool had long since dried up but then he ran out of mana so it was me 200 HP him 150 HP then he used enrage i missed on my turn, he killed me id try again but thats when they changed the site
on territory war online i was playing agaisnt a person and i had one stickman left while he had 4, i was below him and he was about to give me a headshot but my head didnt explode, then i walked away and build some walls and he was throwing grenades at the wall trying to get the grenades over but one bounced off the wall and killed all four of his men it was so funny
i was being chased by a tank in halo one and hiding behind some rocks. i ran out and shot with a sniper as he shot in the tank i killed him because if u renember in halo one their was a grate on the tanks that you could shoot through. and hes thing landed as close as it could be and i was blinking and everything. then i was ran over by a ghost lol
Ugh, so hard... I think there were 3 different times when I was already out of the race when I won. Up against the Bloody Chain, I had to destroy all 29 other racers in a limited amount of time. I killed 28 of them and barely reached the final one. I had to use all of my boost to reach him, so if ANYTHING even touched me my machine would explode. We both attacked at the same time which depleted all of his shield/energy, but sent me spiraling off, a dead machine... but I ricocheted back, hit him, broke him down, and he flew off of the track and therefore exploded just before me.
lol id have to say on COD4 i was getting attacked from both front and back... I laid down making one think i was dead, of course this is when my screen is all red, so i cant rlly see anything. I just start shooting my light machine gun ahead of me and killed 1 of them. I got up and moved to the right (by chance i got away from him knifing me) and ended up knifing that one. A got both kills and the match ended right after... I only came in second thow, which kinda sucked.
