People who text disgust me. I just don't see the point. It's just another way to feel like some shut-in who is so afraid of talking that he has to speak using shortened words and terrible grammar.
Hello, it's called a voice, and it was given to you for a reason, so use it! Don't talk with your fingers!
I love texting, mainly because I'm super bad at talking on the phone, but it's a great time waster and a great way to become better friends with people.
Which is why it sucks that my chargers broken :S

Not quite possible to always be face to face with everyone who you want to talk too and sometimes it's appropriate to text but not to make a phone call.
I don't normally text much but a few weeks ago I became friends with a girl who texts constantly so ergo my texting has gone up lol I ahve to sat it is quite fun much easier than talking cos you can type something out then delete it if you don't like it, you don't need to worry about how long your taking to reply or body language and you can just stop texting if you don't want to chat As much as I like talking face to face I'm not very good at it XD and I always get a bit scared lol oh well I'm insane >_>
I text alot but i also call alot, I make atleast 1 hour long call per day. It depends on who im talking to, some people id just rather text than talk and vis versa. Also depends on the subject matter.
Text talk is why many people in chatrooms and online interaction activities will never spell and use grammar correctly. Talk on the phone when you can, it's quicker, and if they happen to not be there and you MUST reach them, then resort to texting.
"So basically everyone communicated by texting" "Wow! So voice phones hadn't been invented yet?" "No, our phones could do that too." "So... they just had bad quality?" "They had great quality." "But it was expensive?" "Most plans had unlimited talking." "But texting was just easier right?" "Actually, on quite a few phones you had to press one tiny button three time to make just one letter." "Um... wtf?"
aknerd
this is exactly what i think of the subject i hope aknerd won't mind
