Here's a sneak peek at Sinjid, the game I'm currently working on. It is going to be an RPG game like Sonny, with focus on character development, skill trees, loads of items and weapons.
The major difference is that Sinjid will be more focused on real-time combat, and a more exploring-sandbox style of gameplay.
For example, being behind the enemy will give you a damage bonus, so factors like these encourage you to outmanoeuvre your opponent and creates a lot of dynamism in battle.
There'll be ranged non-magic attacks, such as Shurikens, and area effect spells.
Also, inspired by the 'Slash Harkens' in Code Geass if anyone has seen that, I've added an ability that is sort of like a grapple hook. You shoot it at enemies, and if it hits them, it pulls them towards you (or you towards them, depending on who is heavier). You'd also be able to use this on walls or ceilings to pull yourself away from sticky situations
Looks good dude I liked Sinjid Shadow of the Warrior where you could fight, buy armor and weapons, make money by making potions, that kind of stuff is really cool!
The key layout will be completely customisable. You can assign hotkeys to your movement and any of your abilities as you feel comfortable with. Originally, movement will be set on arrow keys and WASD, with all he abilities hotkeyed from 1 to 9, since it's easier to learn.
But once you play for a bit you might want to move the keys around 5-9 to something like Q and E so its easier to press.
Projectiles will just shoot straight when you use them, but maybe you can set them to be aimed with the mouse as well, so you can shoot at any angle
I really enjoyed "Sinjid: Shadow of the Warrior", but it was so short. Was there supposed to be more for that game in developement, but it never came out?
