"I haven't seen anything like this since the 1960's" - Congressman
Racial
Is it that sad? Is it that horrid that we are going back to the days of racial discrimination? Are we really sinking to this low? Conservatives suck. Well, they did, until they started doing this sh*t. Now they're screwing up our f-ing country, so they suck even more.
From actual witnesses at the Tea Party demonstrations, many of the heard things like: N-Word "White Boy" Gay
This is just really f*cking sad. I'm not kidding, I never "swear" like this in a post, now I'm just ticked.
Anger
I can sort of understand this, we're passing a bill that 49% of the nation wants, and 49% doesn't. But is this really the answer to our problems? No, it's not.
Insane
Scare Tactics
f*ck whoever made this. you can't compare a great/good/ok change to Hitler.
I am just f*cking ticked - Didn't catch that earlier, now you did.
I generally don't come to this forum for politics because any right-ish post I'd make is bashed by 10 people and yelled at for proof by another 5. (hyperbole)
Let's observe the title of this thread.
Angry, Insane, Racial Slurring, Tea Party People
As soon as a group forms for something, the opposition will slander it as much as they can for various things as not being 'olitically correct'.
Not as terrible as the likes of Hitler, but he has lied to the country.
What's stopping him from lying even more then?
Concentrate on the bad, and you'll never see the good.[quote]Tell me the good.
You should be careful when plucking apart paragraphs. If you take two sentences and answer them separately, you might just miss the main point, which it seems you have.
If I'm wrong, please don't hesitate to correct me!
Do you not think there is more to it than that?
in which you replied
There's always more to everything.
Your reply was somewhat redundant.
Quote:I'm not sure that just voicing an opinion is considered "good."
She's not saying that it's wrong to voice an opinion. She was questioning if an opinion alone is necessarily good.
If you put the sentences together, you get this...
Do you not think there is more to it than that? I'm not sure that just voicing an opinion is considered "good."
Which was a reply too...
People are trying to voice their opinion.
So what she's asking is this...
You said they are voicing their opinion as if to justify their actions. Are their actions justifiable simply because they are voicing their opinion, or is there more to it than just that? Please explain.
Like I said, I could be wrong, but I'm tired of people dissecting paragraphs rather than taking them in whole. It's something I'm probably guilty of too, which is something I'm going to start watching out for when I post.
I have not been keeping up to date with the Tea Parties. Links would be nice. Thanks.
I needed more proof, too, and I knew that Graham wasn't going to even bother. Sometimes, Asherlee, you have to know when to back off and let the children get themselves in trouble.
Are their actions justifiable simply because they are voicing their opinion, or is there more to it than just that? Please explain.
Their action of forming groups is justified and protected by the constitution.. Anyone's opinion is justifiable by their own person. Don't really know how to answer other than that.
and I knew that Graham wasn't going to even bother.
I don't really get this, please explain what your are implying.
and I knew that Graham wasn't going to even bother.
Maybe I'm not constantly here? O_o
let the children get themselves in trouble.
What's that supposed to mean? >.>
Graham, I was addressing Asherlee and Nemo, because of the banter on page4. Start back at the top of that page and read to my comment and I hope you catch my wit! Nemo's request was totally ignored until I commented and added the link. That link is what I was referring to you not even bothering to look up. Get it? Got it? Good!
