So. Are humans really natural beings of Earth, or are we a colony of a species on a different planet? Did we naturally evolve, or were we genetically engineered? As Crick said, it's more likely that a hurricane blowing through a jungle will make a jumbo jet than that DNA naturally formed in a time frame of 500-600 million years.

Mainly because we'd have some form of relic, at the VERY least.

And if we were descended from said aliens, those aliens would be very messy and accident prone creatures indeed.

We'd have an abundance of artifacts.

We are not aliens. At all. We still have common links with every single species on our planet.

Well, in all technicality we could be aliens. We just drifted from a comet into Earth a few billion years ago.

There's also no actual &quotroof" that gravity exists. It's still considered a theory. Though if I drop my remote off my desk, it falls.

Actually there is scientific theories are based on evidence, and gravity is both a theory and a law. But if not it just being a scientific theory doesn't diminish it any.

Are you people seriously trying to tell me there are no artifacts or relics? Get real. Don't even get me started. If you want me to list some, prepare for 5 pages of examples. Google it.

I highly doubt it, unless we are like a game or a show to them, as if they did make us and we meant anything to them then we would have some of there technology, so unless they traveled in a ship made of stone and would then I highly doubt it.

As well, the other planet would still have to form DNA, further troubling this theory...

Ahh but what if said other planet had a MUCH longer time frame in which to do so?

then we are inferior to them

That may even be likely. Now your thinking like a theist! Then we would have to be less then pets, as even pets are cared for. There would be no logical reason for them to do so, save entertainment, though they could have done the same thing for cheaper by using androids. So, we would then be a mistake, a penal colony, or a toy. Or, less likely, a tool to be used some point in the future, such as in a war. But none of those make much since, as we would still see some sign of the creating species. Name ten, indisputable things, if you can.

Here's the problem. We estimate the universe to be roughly 15billion years, give or take. Now in that time frame it took billions of years for things to cool down and begin forming planets. It took roughly hundreds of millions of years for the planets then to cool. Now, Earth has been around for 4 billion years and intelligent life has only been alive for 11,000 years. It took 11,000 years for us to reach our current state, now how can we argue that aliens developed faster?

It's simple really. They simply evolved better than we did. They evolved to be smarter than we are. And for your information, out solar system happens to be one of the youngest solar systems in the entire galaxy. Think how advanced we'll be in a million years.

I like how arrogant you are to assume humans will EXIST millions of years from now.

It was just an example. As a firm believer in 2012, I do not believe that. If you want arrogant, look at all the people who refuse to believe any civilization could exist that is more advanced than ours.
