I know the two games are very different, but I just wanted to make a thread so we could collect a bunch of ideas for the sequels to these two games.
When submitting an idea, please describe it as best as possible and how it would compare with the current features within the original game.
My idea for Raze:
Pulser Gun - Similar to that of the alien commander, it has indefinite range until it hits an obstacle, it fires at a rate of 1.5 shots per second, and deals more damage the shorter the beam travels to hit the target. Ammo of 50 shots per clip, collecting the weapon gives you 2 clips.
There should be some mini games in Razes campaign.Like when you finish a mission and one of the enemy is running away,you have to get close to him and then shoot him,but you have time.So if your time is up the enemy will escape.Or there could be recource gathering which you have to collect 3 supply crates that are gaurded by enemy forces. You dont have time in this Mini-Game.At the start of this Mini-Game you get a pistol and a assault rifle.And evey time you collect a supply crate you gain one random gun.But the good thing is that you have a lot of magazines.Beside the Mini-Games there should be some Mini bosses too.Like if there are 15 missions on one campaing on the 7-8 mission there should be a mini-boss.But he has weaker armor and weapons then a Real Boss.Thats all from my idea now.
An engaging story would be nice, with cutscenes. Also, it would be great if levels had more purpose to them than just killing the other people on the team (ie: digging underground and placing bombs under enemy territory).
Also for a map, the trenches. It has two trenches; one for aliens and one for humans. Also would be cool is if you could choose a path in the game, such as going with the bomb crew or going for a direct attack with the offense crew, or staying behind with the defence crew, etc.
I think secondary attacks are good too, as long as they aren't broken (healing ability with pistol in Unreal Flash 2007 allowed me to win almost everything pretty easily).
CF3 idea: Balanced rage attacks They were a great addition and they made things more fun, but honestly, they were so broken. I think they should either make it 5 consecutive hits on the SAME ENEMY, or at least change some of the melee attacks so that they don't deal multiple hits anymore.
They took quick swipes from me, and as much as I may regret this later, they should probably take away the cheapness of rage attacks too.
