I'm 13 and I'm going to be circumcised on Saturday, here are my questions. Is it painful? If so, how painful? How long will it take? Will the anesthesia be administered by hypodermic needle or by rubbing? I have somewhat of a phobia of needles. Please reply.
Considering how they're cutting off a part of your penis, even with anesthesia, I can see that being quite uncomfortable, not to mention post operation. D:
I had it done when i was born or when i was young enough not to remember but it does sound painful... dont be scared of needles... IV's are scary... lol when i had to get sergery i had it gased into me lol im not sure if the gas made my voice lower but when i laughed it sounded so low like HU HU HU lol :P i was laughing at my own laugh till i got high and passed out then i had the sergery... it was weird
Oh btw, there's this Pinoy comedian called Rex Navarrete who talked about circumsicision. Well, kidded around with it, and it was funny. It's on his comedy album Husky Boy. If you ever got the chance you should listen to it.
Most people here won't know, because most people here are from the US, where circumcision is done at birth for the most part. But knight would, because he's a teenage dude from the Philippines.
No, I'm a dude from New Zealand who lived in the Philippines for five years. The rubbing part well I have no idea what it's about.
I don't want my penis getting sliced! And I don't want needles going into my groin, and I don't want to be uncomfortable.
No, since in the Philippines it is an overwhelmingly cultural and religious thing that is done when boys reach adolescence. Whether or not he'd want to, he would be made to anyway.
If it is religious, I am assuming that this is Christianity, then you could possibly use the Bible to defend your poco pene.
Lets see...some verses you could quote:
Romans 2:25 - Circumscision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised.
And then on to Verse 28 - A man is not a Jew (Romans was written to the Early Church which was made up of Jews who believed in Jesus) if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.
Sadly, it's an overwhelmingly cultural thing there. Teenagers who aren't circumcised are teased and looked down upon. So, yeah using Bible quotes won't help much.
