I'm 13 and I'm going to be circumcised on Saturday, here are my questions. Is it painful? If so, how painful? How long will it take? Will the anesthesia be administered by hypodermic needle or by rubbing? I have somewhat of a phobia of needles. Please reply.
I'm a nurse...and I've circumcised five patients way back when I WAS a nursing student...two 13 year olds just like you, a 16 year old, an 18 year old and an 8 year old...and believe me, all of 'em cried except the youngest...not even shedding a tear...it turned out that as the older you get...the anaesthetic effect on your body becomes slower...but dont you worry, circumcising is a somewhat cool experience to go through, as if ritual passage of a boy entering manhood plus it is also for hygienic purposes so you'll be just fine....just don't forget after the procedure to cleanse the area everyday with betadine and keep it sterile to prevent it from swelling into something that'll look like a ripe tomato..hehe! Good luck!
I'd much rather not get circumcised! But they feel like forcing me to do it, I mean it's MY body and all and they don't even give me a decision whether I want to or not? Heck, screw religious beliefs, I have none.
Enjoy one last foreskin filled night with your right hand...
Er, he's just 12/13.
If they are circumcising you for religious beliefs that you don't have then it is wrrroonnng!!!
Yeah but sadly, he is coerced from all around to do so. There isn't much escape.
It's also an immensely very cultural thing there, so it doesn't really matter what denomination of Christianity you belong to, or whatever religion you are.
Actually i'm with Riou on this one. I'm catholic so there's nothing to stop me from being circumcised if i want to but i don't know if i do. It sounds painful but i don't know if there are any positive or negative sides of this.
Nothing really, if you do get it, you're incredibly sensitive and wearing and type of, err...rubbing?, on your bottom half will be irritating as hell for about 3 months from what I hear.
It lessens over time, but it apparently takes around that long for sensitivity to completely die out. That process also apparently makes, err...nightly activities, less pleasurable.

Yes, of course.

The people I know that did get it done, didn't take that long to recover. Usual time when things are completely normal again, is around six months after. Though the pain shouldn't get in the way for three months. That's rather long.
