I got the idea for this thread on my way to work today, they were talking about Hannibal Lecter on NPR, and I realized what a likeable character he is, especially for a crazed villian. So that leads to the question, who is your favourite villian; not because of how evil they are, but how strangely likeable they are. This can transcend movies, video games, etc.
Green Goblins Son,(Forgot his name) from Spiderman. When he found out that Spiderman didn't kill his dad, and that it was really his dad's own invention that did him in, he forgave Spiderman, and even sacrificed himself in order to save him.
Dustfinger from Inkheart. Sorry. He's not so well-known, but I love him. Does he count as a villain...? I'd say yes and some ppl hate him. My bro says he's a betraying pyro maniac, but I love him. He betrayed Meggie, but it wasn't for a horrible reason. (Everybody's selfish sometimes, right?) Besides, he apologized later. Poor guy... I feel so bad for Dustfinger.
I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned,General Rancor in Spy Hard? One of my favorite lines is when the general says, "You wouldn't shoot an unarmed man?" and Andy Griffith's portrayal as a bad guy was great.
Yes, Silver Arrow, on the 1st page: tom from tom & jerry. he's hillarious. sometimes it's nice to just sit and watch bugs bunny or tom & jerry or cartoons like that. itz fun =]
