This thread is similar to the other Cinco de Mayo situation. Basically, you should accept the others' nationalities and traditions. America is a breadbasket of many.
My mom told me that quote, I agree with it, however the country's flag is a symbol of national pride. If you have no pride in the nation that you live in, then why do you live there?
Certianly true, Kyouzou. I looked at that video, Moe. It makes you think what one or a group of us Americans will do to test their tolerance? That will cause MAYHEM.
People get so full of themselves and get very ignorant sometimes when it comes to what "being an American" is. This country was made to take in anyone who wanted to be free! Why should Mexican Americans go back to Mexico? They want to be here for opportunity and freedoms. People may think we don't have that many, but it's more than most places.
It just makes me angry when people get mad at others and tell them to go back to "their country". This is America, damnit! It belongs to ALL Americans.
