Story: The year is 3719. The human race has spread among thousands of star systems all under the banner of an imperialistic Earth. Three months ago all contact with Earth was lost due to series of violent coups and sabotages. In the remnants of this the Imperium has been overthrown. Now you are left with the task of filling in the void that has been left by the fall of the Imperium.

Rules: In this game your goal is to take control of Earth's shattered Imperium. To do this you will have to build armadas of ships, invade other colonies with your armies, colonize new planets, engage in diplomacy and espionage.

Each player starts off on their homeworld as a Govenor (title may be changed after first post). Please note that ONE person may start on Earth, but it will be extremely challenging. Here is the character chart below:

@ lala yes your resource is fine. Also what is pulse technology? Finally I've seen variations of classes, and frigate is the weakest ship against other fighting ships.

@ Rick gunfighting and dogfight are NOT technologies.

Pulse tech...err...
...
Basically--you know lasers? Pulse beams are a type of laser, that fire very quickly...they short out stuff, so say if a missile is shot...if it gets pulsed, the pulse takes out the missile's guidance, and/or detonating it. Good for point defense, but ships have enough armor and such to resist it easiliy.

Combine it with a shield, and you can charge a shield with it, then release it...destroying projectiles and such around you.

Hmm...ok, time to bump up my ship designs then...so my destroyers become cruisers, cruisers become battleships, and dreads/battleships become destroyers...

I hhaven't seen any scouts/corvettes--can I make those?

My engineers have developed opening frigate designs. The frigates are heavily armored, yet lack severe fire power. They have also started to build cargo ships.

I commande my plant to start gathering up plasma to start mass porducing plasma wepones (for ships and troops) and start selling in a universe wide Market
