What is Evil? is there such thing? is there even a good or a bad, a light and a dark. Does evil describe, or does evil exist? What can be classified as evil? Is evil truly wrong other than the fact that it hurts others? is evil a mindset, or a noun? is it even there? describe evil, talk about it.

I believe the most straightforward definition of evil is detrimenting others for personal gain, whilst good is detrimenting yourself for the gain of others. There is nothing "deemed" wrong, morally or ethically about it, just that it is evil and good in the purest since.

This is a good point. Although there are cases when actions that are detrimental to others may be in their best interest, or the best interests of a larger group.

whilst good is detrimenting yourself for the gain of others.

I'm not sure that would be classified as 'good' per se. There are many things which we consider good that are not detrimental to the person committing the act. Also, helping others at the expense of a personal loss can, at times, actually do more harm to you than good to the other, thus the overall effect is a net loss.

I could consider that gain as well, just in a group-of-people sense.

Good point. When I considered "detrimenting yourself for the gain of others", I jumped back to all those times when I played the conclusion of video games, or the climax of any movie. The hero always sacrifices his life (or at least puts his life in danger) for the sake of others. This could however be a "karma moment" in which the rescuee is a damsel in distress and she repays the hero by sleeping with him. [come on, we all know that's what happens in the end lol]

Neutrality is when you do not want any involvement in some situations. When someone says help, you either get someone else or say "no way I'm risking my hide!". When there are countless opportunities to harm someone for your gain, you leave it be for fear of getting caught or getting harmed yourself.

I don't think humans are capable of being consciously evil, or evil at all.

Yes we are. All people have a little "evil self" telling themselves to gain their superiority at the expenses of others; for me it's a constant struggle, were we in an apocalyptic setting I would probably be the nice guy you have to watch you back from.
Some people just don't think about the consequences.
And there you see the so called "evil persons".

Well this is what wikipedia says about it:

Evil is the intention of causing harm or destruction while threatening or deliberately violating morality. Largely due to the subjectivity of the word morality (which may refer to a society's moral code, one's own moral system, relative morality, absolute morality, etc.), there is no agreement about whether evil is a matter of social custom or universally correct principle that overrides custom. Evil, however, is most commonly used to refer to any intention that is socially perceived as the antithesis of a morally right or good intention.

The notion of evil is particularly explored in religion, social philosophy, and the narrative arts (e.g. literature). The word evil is most specifically contrasted with good. In some religions, evil is an active force, often personified as an entity such as Satan or Angra Mainyu.

I think a big part of this is true. but i also think it's evil to set a whole forest into fire.. Just harming anything is evil i think

I keep getting told,"No, THAT'S evil. THIS is good." Good and evil are pretty much the same thing. Except the different names classify them like Team 1 and Team 2.

Good is what you believe in.
Evil is what you don't.
