Since South Park played a role in breaking the camels back here I would like to point out they have made fun of many religions including the two you mentioned by name numerous times. Your religion get's not special treatment in this light, nor should it.
...Radical Islam isn't thee same is Islam its self, I honestly think that any member of this particular forum, isn't so uneducated that he/she doesn't know the difference between the two. I have no problem with the religion, freedom of religion and all that jazz. My problem is the people that have taken it to far, killing other doesn't endear you to the world. The men control the women through fear, just as the religious leaders control the community. I may be the only one, but to me it seems very Nazi.
Why are you saying Islam is the only target of criticism and jokes? I see people make fun of Christianity and Judaism so much more... People make jokes about all religion.

Maverick, I'm guessing your post is aimed at the OP and not at any specific post? I ask this because what you're saying has already been pointed out...several times.
Ok, I understand that this contest is offending for their religion, but I am very positive that the reason why they are not allowing to the Pakistani citizens to use those sites are not religious. The government of Pakistan wants the isolation of their citizen. Because, when the people cannot easily communicate with persons outside their own country and does have access only to controlled sources of information, the result is having a people that does rarely question the decisions taken by their leaders. It's a classic thing. The Chinese are doing the same. Religion in this case as in many others is only the excuse, the real motives are political.
It's your government. We do it to spit in the face of terrorists and because we can.
Not all muslims are terrorist and it does make sense. Making fun of another religion isn't really a good way to make the world shut up and forget about war and live in peace. Its a joke although he's right they don't make fun of christianity and I'm catholic. I have no dislikes against any other religion.

Oh for crying out loud.
I think it's a good thing. People need to be offended now and again to keep them humble. A very large portion of the world thinks they're the only people who get to be offended by what others say to a legal or even moral extent. This will only be rectified by proving that they aren't a special case and treating them the very same way any other religion is treated. Catching up with all the Jesus jokes is going to take a while. Considering they're offended by even a DEPICTION, I think you're going out of your way to portray it as offensive or a singularly Islamic issue.
It'd be like telling Jews to stop eating non kosher, some of them actually killing others for eating pork, and then everyone eating pork to spite the complainers. There's nothing offensive about eating pork unless you know a pig.
Also, something else I'd like to add, my gf happens to be Muslim and shares (roughly) the same views as me. Please don't try and make it out that the entire Islamic community is up in arms about this. They aren't.
