The Megadeth vs Metallica thing has been going on since Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica and Megadeth rose up to challenge Metallica. Which band do you prefer? What are you favorite albums and songs?
I personally prefer Mettalica over Megadeth,But their both good bands =D. Its just that I think Mettalica has more skill and is been goin on for over 20 years now.
metallica is great and all but come on, 98% of there lyrics are about nothing.
Just because you're dumb and don't get the lyrics it doesn't mean they're about nothing. They're just not as straight forward as Megadeth, you can interpret them as you like, they have different meanings to different people.
Megadeth has great lyrics and they reflect Dave's struggle with drinking, a messed up family life, and drug habbits.They have head exploding riffs. The first time i heard holy wars i almost sh*t myself. Up until about 5 months ago i was a die hard Metallica fan, now its Megadeth. I think people are discouraged by megadeth b/c od the ' deth ' in the name. 0.o
yes. actually the backround story is about a WW I vet. I cant remember where i read it,I cant remember which but he was either carrying moarter shells or one exploded near him, but one blew off near him and blew off his arms n legs and well u know the rest.
