... you all know what death penalty is (hohoho!), but do you also know what your opinion to death penalty is?

Oh well, my opinion comes first obviously, but first of all i want to kill a wrong reasoning in many of your heads:
Prisoners need something to eat and drink, of course, and all of you think now 'why not just killing this guy, he maybe killed someone and now he eats our food and drinks our water!' Well guys, prisoners work, so they dont cost us somethin, they kinda help uz, one them helps generally more than one of you, kk? Dont let me hear kill that guy, the money he'd cost could be mine!
Oh well my opinion... kill that prisoners. What said Ghandi? Eye for eye and the world is blind. Lol funny! I mean, how dare he to tell such a nonsense? Doesnt matter. Why not a beautiful list for my clever arguments?

The murderer hurts also the friends, the family of the victim. And whooops, a friend or a relative takes revenge! Lolol, we have another young murderer, oh dear... Why not just go let the magistrate decide what happens? Ouch! Big story. Also the murderer dies, and really no one wanted to get killed.
Well well, the murderer should get killed officially by a deathsman or even one relative or friend of the victim if he wants, then everyone had his revenge and hey, who wants to take revenge then? All not (enough) reasoned acts of revenge means for the man who has taken revenge the death, punto. And the next day pasts away as if nothing had happen...
Oh and yes, sry for my english dudes :P I hold my opinion basically, i will define it clearlier after some opinions with celver arguments will appear (and contra-arguments for the my basically hold opinion, lets see if you think something is already at beginnin stupid :P)
I think you missed the point. It's all about punishment. People wait to be killed, if they get the death penalty. After those 20 years or so, they get killed. No more. The life sentence is a longer punishment. Plus, you only feel the two or three seconds it takes for the electric chair to fry you or lethal infection to poison you.
So you think they should be tortured? And then killed? Or just killed? Or just tortured? Which is it. Please try to be more concise here, as I don't quite follow your logic, if in fact you are applying it to your thoughts.
I disagree to the life sentence. They have a chance to escape, murderers, abusers of children. Serial #$% Offenders. And feeding them, rooming them, it costs us innocents money. Think, the victim is paying taxes to possibly feed the person who violated them in the first place!
I completely agree with the death penalty. In my opinion, if you kill anyone 1st degree, 2nd, 3rd. It doesn't matter. Anybody who kills any body deserves a death penalty. "There is no rest for the wicked."
I agree with Aaliyah928. I don't think you, as a criminal, are paying a debt to society if society's taxpayers are paying for you in prison.
Then again, I think the death penalty is very controversial and tends to ruffle people's feathers. I wish there was some magical way to just banish them to an isolated country or something.
Meh... it actually costs less to keep them in jail, life without parole. I think anyone who kills a kid or Serial Killers or Rapists should be put down.
I think the death penalty should be forbidden all over the world.. This is because i think it's much more worse to spent all my life in jail than to die. I think the ones who did something wrong think that also, also because of all the violence in prisons etc.
Also you can kill an innocent person by accident and i just think that no one can decide whether someone else should live or die.
I think it would be better if you say if you do something twice, the punishment you get will be doubled or something.. For example, you stole a cd, you get caught and have to pay a bill, work a bit for him etc. but if you do it twice you have to go to the jail for 3 months + you have to pay a bill and if you do it again, 1 year to jail + a bill
Also i think that they should have a therapy with the bad guys (but the psychiatrists shouldn't be in danger, so maybe with something between the two) to figure out why they did it and if they have regret etc.. maybe they can be helped!
My opinion of the death penalty is linked, in large part, to my opinion of humanity. I look around me everyday, and I see people suffering. I see people that don't live up to potential, people openly opposing bright futures, and those apathetic to what goes on around them. I think that if the global population of humans were at levels closer to one billion, rather than the seven-ish billion we're at today, the -quality- of life would be much higher.
Criminals are the outcasts of society. That is why we build prisons and containment facilities for them, and work to isolate them from the world (try to, at least).
They have been judged and found guilty (in a perfect world, anyway) to be flawed, to be threats to the well-being of society, and they are imprisoned for it. I think 90% of crimes should warrant the death penalty.
(apologies if this is a re-post!) I agree, some can be helped, but how many are released after being "helped" and are on parole, then re-offend? Think about that percentile.
If a person aquires 100+years i think it would be right, I mean some of these people to unspeechable things that some of us don't dream of and, then say you no one deserves death but did the 10 to 15 people they killed deserve death either?
I support the death penalty. I will become much more enthusiastic and in-depth when someone tries to counter me. I always look forward to a good argument.
