... you all know what death penalty is (hohoho!), but do you also know what your opinion to death penalty is?

Oh well, my opinion comes first obviously, but first of all i want to kill a wrong reasoning in many of your heads:
Prisoners need something to eat and drink, of course, and all of you think now 'why not just killing this guy, he maybe killed someone and now he eats our food and drinks our water!' Well guys, prisoners work, so they dont cost us somethin, they kinda help uz, one them helps generally more than one of you, kk? Dont let me hear kill that guy, the money he'd cost could be mine!
Oh well my opinion... kill that prisoners. What said Ghandi? Eye for eye and the world is blind. Lol funny! I mean, how dare he to tell such a nonsense? Doesnt matter. Why not a beautiful list for my clever arguments?

The murderer hurts also the friends, the family of the victim. And whooops, a friend or a relative takes revenge! Lolol, we have another young murderer, oh dear... Why not just go let the magistrate decide what happens? Ouch! Big story. Also the murderer dies, and really no one wanted to get killed.
Well well, the murderer should get killed officially by a deathsman or even one relative or friend of the victim if he wants, then everyone had his revenge and hey, who wants to take revenge then? All not (enough) reasoned acts of revenge means for the man who has taken revenge the death, punto. And the next day pasts away as if nothing had happen...
Oh and yes, sry for my english dudes :P I hold my opinion basically, i will define it clearlier after some opinions with celver arguments will appear (and contra-arguments for the my basically hold opinion, lets see if you think something is already at beginnin stupid :P)
I say if you planned a killing and actully killed somone . Then good by death penalty for you . If you didn't get away with the killing then 50 years or life in prison .
Noobalot, you can't just throw out the death penalty at every criminal. I live in Canada, and here we don't have a death penalty. And I actually find that much better. What if you were wrongly accused of a crime? And you had to die for it? That would suck. And plus, I just don't believe in the death penalty in general. Yes, some people do deserve it. But it seems to me that U.S. is inclined to punish their criminals, while other countries are inclined to rehabilitate them.
Well it seems that death penalty does result in more crimes then places that give you prison for life. And isnt sitting in prison for years with nothing to do worse than just dying right away. btw here are some statistics on death penaltyhere
Exactly. And most criminals CAN be rehabilitated. Some just take more time then others. I find that focusing on that would be much better then focusing on killing them.
And yes, I realize that some can't be rehabilitated. But I find prison for life a more appropriate penalty. Just my opinion though.
I'm all against it. You know there are a lot of awful works that nobody wants to do: sulfur miner, guano raker, stone smasher, air ducts cleaner... Why should we permit those who have done something awful, the quick way out?
I think it should be an eye for an eye. If a man shoots a man then he is shot. If a man stabs someone and throws then down an escalator they should be stabbed and thrown down escalator. If they murder a man then the death penalty it is. But I think they spend way too much money on each death penalty. In some states they more than 1 million $ on each death sentence. I think they should just take a shotgun, put the end of the barrel to his head and fire.
Death is better than having your liberty taken away for a lifetime. They, in essence, take a life no matter what happens. If they kill the criminal, the person's life is taken away. If they get life sentence, they have no life anymore, but suffer more. Death is instant. A real punishment lasts.

im not saying that. im not saying that everyone, innocent or guilty, needs to die. i just dont see any point in keeping alive psychopaths and serial murderers, drop the rapists thing wateva... if you are willing to take multiple lives from society then society shouldnt have ti pay for it...ugh

one of the big problems in America today is the the overcrowded prison system, where sadly roughly half ( i think) of all arrests were from drug related things. it becomes more unstable every day it persists. if every other country has the money and time to rehabilitate more criminals than the US, fine, i respect that.
Everyone deserves a second chance whether that be in prison or not.
Way to prevent overcrowding? Promote the education system which will keep more kids in school and on track to living a more moralistic life where the need for committing crimes wont be necessary. Or legalize marijuana.
