I switched to armorgames.com from kongregate.com thinking that they would be similar. They are but the fact the kongregate gives 'badges' adds a whole new challenge to the game. They don't give out 'badges' for every game but they do for most. I would really enjoy if armorgames at least gave out more armor points for games that already have sort of 'built in' achievments. I'm not looking to get tons of armor points per 'badge' mabye two or three but it would be nice to have more of a challenge added to the games we already love to play. Tell me what you think!
I think that would actually work! MoFunZone is already doing that as well, though they give out much less xp for rating games and posting comments. They also don't have a very good ranking system as well. If Armour Games were to add achievements for the games and reward players with points, they could really set the standard for internet game sites. Also, the achievements would help players gain levels faster, but try to avoid giving to many points out for achievements. Just stick with one point per achievement and mabye make it so that the really difficult ones give you two or three points.
yeah, AG is my favorite site, does not copy anyone really. AG is fun, but when i want to get badges, sure ill head over to Kong. But no need for them here.

AP points are here, as Holden012 said, not to recognize the best gamers, but people who contribute to the site in a meaningful way. I've never actually been on Kongragate, but I'm sure it's a great site as well. The two systems are just different, and that's it. Although I don't reccomend this, if such a system were to be put in place an Armorgames, you'd want to make it seperate from Armor Points.

No one is stopping you. I LIKE AG because there are no badges like kongre-gratuitious. This place (AG) is more comfortable and more laid back and I like it that way.
This is a common suggestion,if you didn't know.Like everyone is saying armorgames wants to be unique,and if they had badges thats when the hackers come in!
Yep, AP is all about how active you are. Although there are those who tend to spam on comments just to make people think they have the most. Those are usually the people who never go on the forums.
It would make AP more challenging to get from Games, but the Achievements would have to be very Hard to get, and so grant you 5 or 10 AP from that Achievement. Then people WOULD play the game to try and get the achievement( Because the AP Spammers just rate and post a good review of the game without even clicking 'lay' and checking it out ), This would kill them.
What about badges that do not contribute to your AP, but are only for show? (and add some extra features so that AP is still more importand than badges)
