But anyways, this will hopefully be the official Black Ops thread. Talk about it, discuss it, etc. Obviously, the game isn't out yet, but w/e. (That was a ****load of commas)

1) You only get two perks in mutliplayer, and this combination of perks determines your third perk. 2) There is a new armour system, e.g. Cold-Blooded and juggernaut are armours you can wear (not much detail given on this). 3) The FAMAS returns, but is no longer a 3-round burst weapon. Instead it is full-auto. 4) There is no M4. Instead another new gun mentioned seems like it will take its place, the SIG Commando. 5) Other new weapons confirmed include the RPK, Skorpion and MAC11. 6) There is no commando perk. (:]) 7) The scavenger perk is included, but no longer replenishes equipment. 8) The One man army perk is also not included. 9) The highest killstreak reward (at this time in devlelopment) is 15. 10) There is no emergency airdrop, but there is a care package. 11) As confirmed before, killstreaks will not stack. For instance, if you get a 5 kills without dying and receive your killstreak reward, the kills you get with that killstreak reward will not count towards your next killsreak (e.g. 7 kill killsteak). You will have to get two more kills, in that instance, by other means to receive your next killstreak. 12) You can sprint to prone in the current build of the game. Basically this means you can dive straight on your belly after sprinting, instead of having to stop, crouch and than go prone. 13) The tactical knife is gone, while a new knife is being introduced: the ballistic knife. This is a knife that has a spring that can shoot a blade (in real life, not necessarily in the game). 14) The claymore is a piece of equipment, and you only get 1 per life. 15) Grenades are not considered equipment, and replenished by scavenger. 16) The M16 is in the game, and still a powerful weapon. (Or as Woody puts it, still the ****!) 17) The PSG1 sniper rifle is in the game. 18) UAV, airstrike and 3 types of helicopters are back as killstreaks. The Pave Low is confirmed as well, and has a feature unique to the game. 19) The SR-71 plane is also one of the killstreak rewards.

I'm still in two minds about this game, but I know I am almost bound to be disappointed, so I think I'll hold out for a few months a focus my interest on the hackers who are planning to make Kinect compatible with PC.
I got the game, and I really, really love it. So balanced. When I get killed by an M16 I don't have the urge to throw my controller down. I love the gun game the most.
Sorry for double post. But for those of you who know Totalbiscuit / Totalhalibut / the Cynical Brit (SCII and World of Warcraft commentator), I think you shall be jealous to know that he joined the server I was in yesterday night.
I even checked to make sure it was him, went to recent games, same picture, and his friends list was full. Bloody amazing.
TB if you read this (unlikely), I was [Myth]Pride and you joined late I think in a Free-for-All game, and was third / fourth to last at the end of the game.

ok multiplayer on this game is absolute poop. i had 5 host switches before i got kicked out, then it wont even let me into a game to begin. it takes like 5 mintues to even find a game and if im lucky stay in it. its complete garbage.

I've got to agree with you on that. My only complaints so far, although I've had the game for such little time, is that it's kinda laggy, which makes me really mad when it lags in the beginning of games. Of course that's a player problem for having a bad connection, but I wanna play the game... The other complaint is matchmaking. Like the post above mine says, it takes a while to find a game.

For me it's the Frames Per Second. It's terrible so far, but Treyarch plan on optimizing it for PC properly in a future patch. That basically means we'll be able to play it properly.
I guess it's safe to say that Black Ops has actually made me rage. There isn't a game in the world that I CAN'T rage on but at least most of the time, I feel like it's my fault for making a dumb decision.
Btw, I hate Nuke Town. Played like 5 straight matches of the gun game on there last night and I lost some CoD Points... Still have 6,000 though.

I almost never have these problems. I do have a few issues when it comes to staying in a certain party and getting kicked out of it. Of course, we need to give the game some time to patch these issues up.
game is amazing in my opinyun. and btw im going to tell u how to unlock all zombie maps at once and how to unlock all intel, if you dont want to know just skip this.
ok so im sure most of you know by now that at the main menu look down and rappid tap L2 and R2(PS3) or (not sure about this one since i dont have a 360)rappid tap left trigger and right trigger(ither that or right bumper and left bumper)u brake free of the torchur chair, BUT some of you may not know that if u walk around the back of the chair thares a computer that u can use, if u type in "3arc unlock" you unlock all zombie maps without haveing to beat campain(i still sugest you do, its relly fun)and also if u type "3arc intel"you unlock all intel. thanks for reading hope you have fun with all the modes in "call of duty: black ops"-Killbynight(ps. if your on PS3 feel free to add me if you play black ops alot)
I like the game.In fact its one of my top 30 favorite video games of all time.The campaign was brilliant(especially the part when flying the chopper).The multiplayer was pretty good and the gameplay was okay.
