I might try using some other key combinations some time. I still have some problems with WASD. It's somewhat awkward, control to my right hand is very much inferior to my left and it aches after a while.
WASD!!!! My hands are more fit fore that kind of position, especially if the game only makes you use the WASD in the keyboard, since, I prefer my right hand on the mouse(even if I'm not using it!)
WASD. Yes I am left handed, but that isn't why I like the WASD configuration. The WASD configuration opens up many possibilities for other keys to be used, such as q,e,r,f,z,x,a,c. That is a lot more options than the arrow keys which just has shift around it...
I'm used to WASD, so I never use the arrow keys to move unless those are the game's controls. I hear that some left-handed people prefer to use IJKL or the numpad. I'll see how that works out, as I said before.
In every game with selectable controls WAXD. Yes, you've seen correctly WAXD. I am probably a freak. I have never known anyone else that uses WAXD. WASD gives pains to my left hand, so the alternative is Arrow Keys.
WSAD because while Im playing games, I hold mouse with one hand and WSAD with other and Its easier to reload (r) duck (c) throw grenades (g)..etc and if Im playing with arrows this buttons are too far soo...I need to move my hand and that means I can't walk and do something in same time...so..vote for WSAD
Please remember to keep posts relevant to the thread - meaning "type out why you prefer the one you prefer". I deleted two posts that had barely any content.
Anywho.
WAXD sounds special. O.o I'd imagine that would take the thumb into use for the X... I'm used using my thumbs for Space and the two lowest rows of keys (specifically Alt, Cmd, C, V, comma and full stop)... I just don't have my hands on the keyboard in a way where my thumbs can practically be used a whole lot.
Between WASD and the arrows, I don't really have a preference; I'm moderately ambidextrous, that may be the reason. In the one MMO I play, where a whole bunch of things can be tied to different keys, I have all eight set for movement and frequently switch between them, depending on what I'm doing or which hand I feel like using to scratch my ear or whatever.
Really?? IJKL? This is the FIRST I've ever heard of anyone using those :P
Well, there are much more unusual keyboard combinations. I only usually use IJKL when I do stuff with emulators.
WASD. Yes I am left handed, but that isn't why I like the WASD configuration. The WASD configuration opens up many possibilities for other keys to be used, such as q,e,r,f,z,x,a,c. That is a lot more options than the arrow keys which just has shift around it...
This is why I use WASD, though the thought of using ESDF or IJKL never really occurred to me.
This is kinda pointless, but defenitly wasd keys!IT IS MUCH EASIER TO PLAY GAMES WITH IT ! And the arrow keys on my laptop are smaller than regular arrow keys!!! XD
I like WASD because I've gotten more used to it over the years, since I used to play some fps games on my PC and using the arrow keys and the mouse at the same time is hard.
