Well... it depends. In most MMOs I use the arrow keys because then my left hand can press all the other buttons for the skills or command hotkeys. EX: Inventory (I), Buddies (R), Attack (v), Jump (c), pick-up (z), sit (x), etc.
But for anything that the mouse plays an important role then I use the WASD. (I'm right-handed)
Hmm well I like to use arrow keys if just them and a mouse but if other keys involved like changing weapons for example then I like to use wasd just more convient.
When Iv'e seen everyones thoughts, I can suggest this, WASD for video games and arrows for flash games. What do you think of that?
In every game with selectable controls WAXD. Yes, you've seen correctly WAXD. I am probably a freak.
Wow, WAXD, thats... just plane strange, but it's cool, I like unusual stuff! If you think of it, it's like the Nitendo controls, AW= A and B, XD= X and Y.
Just because it gives me the chance to create a radial of hotkeys around it. Makes it easier for me, considering that most games have the keys way across the keyboard and only a few buttons in my magic radial.
I mostly use the arrow keys. I am quite used to them, so I prefer the arrow keys.
Wow, you are nearly the first one that prefers the arrow keys, thats cool! But lets say you are playing a video game, maybe a RPG, what hotkeys would you use?
Definitely WASD because when im playing for one thing im holding the mouse with my right hand and the second is that i'm a lot used to using it considering all the games using that instead of the arrow keys is more productive well at least for me
I like WASD because I've gotten more used to it over the years, since I used to play some fps games on my PC and using the arrow keys and the mouse at the same time is hard.
Using WSAD and mouse is same as Arrow keys and mouse, I don't see why is that hard
arrows keys bc i suck with my left hand. The only trouble is when you have to use ur mouse, but then i change the options to wasd and hope for the best. So i guess wasd is better is you can do well with ur left
