It depends if movement is the center focus of the game. If it is, arrow keys because I have more coordination me being a righty. If it's like n64 emulator I use JKUOI for buttons ABLRZ for righty and WASD for lefty.
WASD wasn't created for right handed people only, but it sure is disadvantageous for people who use their left hand to move the mouse.
you forgot ijkl I use wasd more often.
Are you talking to me? I mentioned that.
Yes, I know WASD is more comfortable because you are right-handed. The distance between your left and right hands is comfortable. A leftie using WASD might have problems.

On ePSXe for the PlayStation, I used WASD as the d-pad, T and G as start and select, IJKL as triangle, square, X and circle respectively and QE and UO as L1 and L2 and R1 and R2 respectively. Need a gamepad.
I don't know why they always have wasd on the games. arrow keys all the way!
They use WASD on games as the standards because it's more accessible to the other keys, for example if there are any HotKeys in the game. Like M=map, R=reload, Q-E=next weapon, Space=pause, Shift=run etc.
i always prefer arrow keys. the S is not directly under the w and that really messes with me
Try using WAXD. With the thumb on X. You'll probably have to remap a few controls (left SHIFT and left CONTROL are no longer reachable), but I'll find it great.
Well I actually use both during my game play... Let's take GTA for example... When walking around, I prefer to use the WASD so that i can use the mouse easily... But while driving, I use the arrow keys so that I can hand break sing the space bar.

Thats a really great idea! I'm a big fan of San Andreas and I've played it quite a long time and never thought of that, thanks!

I will see how that goes along some time. [/quote]
