You don't know how hard it is to have such pressure on you developing a game that you know will make or break a video game series. My staff put hours of work into this game working out the kinks ourselves and getting it to shelves faster then you would think possible. The grenade launcher attachment is very much used in real life and we wanted to implement as much real life as we could into this game. I know there is a large disgust for our game but we have tried, believe me. As for me personally, I do have a small say on what goes on behind the scenes but once the liquidation of IW occurred I need to run by ANYTHING through Activision to even begin a patch.

Noob tubes and too many killstreaks.

I love how so many people complain and complain about noobtubing, geez it's a part of the game, just about everyone who complains about it are actings as if Noobtubing is cheating, when in reality it's something that is used quite often in real life.

Also, what's wrong with the killstreaks? Getting mad that you're dying too much? Throw on Cold Blooded. If there's a Chopper Gunner / AC 130 Pilot with decent vision, just wait it out in an area they can't reach.

There are simple remedies for these types of things and yet when I play with people on Xbox I continuously hear bickering and bickering about how just everything is so cheap, and so unfair. I mean, if you think somethings so unfair to use against you, why don't you use it and stop bickering? (Note: This rant wasn't directed to any of you, I was merely ranting about the people I play against in random matches bickering at one another about how someone is a try hard for using a UMP, or a BK for using an M16)

I've used UDK and I can tell you it's more repetitive and a little easier than you might think. And the exporting / importing of weapons is difficult, but making sure they do the proper damage is easy in comparison, they couldn't balance it properly (M9-3 > M4A1. Knife > Sniper). Even more, the pressure must be handled incredibly well by DICE whom had made Battlefield Bad Company 2, I actually found myself wanted to install BF 1942 and then play it, rather than play CoD4 / MW2 on Multiplayer. Unbalanced weapons, small maps (which in real life a shotgun can go from one side to the other, in some cases), retarded fighting tactics (Marathon + Lightweight + Steady Aim / Commando beats nearly everything).

Not just that, but MW2 Campaign is completely different to MP, where's the army-feel? Look:
No Teamwork.
No proper Tactics.
Unbalanced Weapons.
Everyone using different weapons (Standard Issue G18, eh?)
Everyone with different Killstreaks.
Most people screaming into their headset about hackers, noobs, or anything nowadays.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 needs more finesse, by the way. I don't (ever) see people moaning on it, and teamwork is a godsend on this game, they got it all wrapped up so well. And the maps are huge! But you can still sustain long fights over short distances in it because of the objectives system, which is another huge benefit to the game (aswell as Dedicated Servers). Even better, it feels more army like, because some / most of the equipment that is useable are also used by other people. Sometimes you can get extra magazines / explosives / speed, but then again SAS Survival Tactics allows you to pick your own bag of resources.

Even funnier is that Bad Company 2 doesn't even try to feature a bunch of kick-ass stuff, just weapons and ranks etc. No lazer sights, no throwing knives (oh and they done that in a previous Battlefield game, BEFORE MW2, so yeah, they're douches), but it's funny putting on 2 C4 pieces on a Quad Bike, driving it, hopping out so it hits a tank and lighting it up!

P.S This was already made...

IW pretty much doesn't care if players like or hate the game, they just want to make money,if they cared about the players they would release patches to fix all the bugs, unbalanced things..etc

From my experience, everyone hates the game when their playing it, but when their not, its the best thing ever created.
Its funny how one game can turn people so aggressive.
Whenever I watch my friends play, every time they die they yell
"AIM BOT!!!"
personally, i just think people get too involved with the game and think noob tubing actually matters. But, I know how frustrating it feels when getting noob tubed or spawn killed on demolition, which does make me pretty angry.

This is my attitude with the game. Well, it's sort of similar. I play Mw2 a lot and when I play it, I want to throw my controller at the screen. When I'm not playing it, I think about quick-scoping since I'm pretty good at it, and it makes me want to play it. I compare it to smoking cigarettes. A lot of people who smoke hate it (my dad did, then he quit like 5 years ago after about 30 years of smoking), but they can't really stop smoking because of the addictive substance in it. Modern Warfare 2, for some reason, has an addictive substance, not literally, but people who don't like it seem to play it often. And I seem to be one of those people.

2. Too many killstreaks

Okaay.. Play the new Barebones mode instead. No killstreak rewards whatsoever.

3. It is not based on a real war

So you don't like MW2 because it's not based on WW2 like every other CoD game? Who cares if it's not realistic? And if you don't like the story, don't play campaign. Wow, simple!

4. Special Ops sucks balls

Okay, that's personal opinion, but I think spec ops was an awesome addition to the game. It has provided hours of fun for me when I'm sucking at multiplayer at the time (Like right now) or if I just want a break from it. Playing with a friend online or splitscreen makes it even better, and the variety of missions is awesome. Don't like it because it's too hard? then

A. Stop using SP/Scavenger or OMA + noobtube/etc. and get better at the game.

B. Use a guide. Amazing!

Here's a tip for you: Stop being such a troll.

The reason why we hate Mw2 so much is because of OMA noob tubes. You're an idiot and gtfo.

@Pauler94

Seriously? You're calling him a troll? Do you even know what a troll is? From Wikipedia:

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

His message was totally on-topic and explained thoroughly. You, on the other hand, are complaining because some people are better than you. Shut the hell up and deal with it. It's called life.

As for the actual topic, let's look at those reasons again, and some easy fixes.
1. So many noobtubers
2. Too many killstreaks
3. It is not based on a real war
4. Special Ops sucks balls
5. Treyarch is awesome

1. Get better at the game.
2.Get better at the game.
3.Does the name "Modern Warfare" mean anything to you?
4.A blockbuster game, in co-op. I don't know what else there is in heaven.
5.So? Just because one developer is awesome, does that mean the others suck. By your logic, Bungie is the best first person shooter developer ever and the other ones make crap games. Does. Not. Make. Sense.

Ok maybe I should have looked it up.

You can't really do anything to stop noob tubers. Blast shield is a waste because there is really no change in how much damage explosives cause. You can be the best player in the world, but you can't dodge a noob tube, or a chopper gunner.

The killstreaks are overpowered. You can't dodge a killstreak. There are some matches where there's two harriers in the air and a chopper gunner. There is really no way to dodge that. How about you stop camping in a corner and using a FAMAS with Commando and use a REAL gun.
