Post your playable Crush the Castle 2 maps. There are other threads for talking about CtC2. If it's not good for shooting at or interesting to look at don't put it here: NO castles that fall apart by themselves, NO random junk piles.

I'm going to start writing stories again now that the problems seems to be resolved with AG. I think it makes the game more enjoyable when you read a story before actually destroying a custom castle.

The prosperity of the Kingdom was due in part of the good weather which
was beneficial to the peasants crop and the numerous merchants visiting the city. The market was thriving with activities and everything was good but at the borders, the neighboring fiefs were envious of the rich and prosperous King. The Prince told his father "your majesty, our enemies are building a powerful fleet and in order to defend our land we must build an ARMADA even greater than our evil foe's". The King agreed and the first ship was ready to set sail when a sneaky CTC2 player attacked our ship!

Wow timestables how did you make that barrel of explosive move around like this? That was funny!

I'm getting more comfortable experimenting with the code now. I can copy entire lines so I can modify them. The only problem is to find the right part. I know that bwc is a beam made out of wood while bic is an iron beam. I'm not sure about the meaning of "c" thought. I would think that bwd would be a beam of decorated wood. bwc would be charred wood. I guess I'll know all the piece's name eventually.

Ok here's a small guide on the VERTICAL BEAMS and their name followed by the codes (don't pay attention to the background).

01 - WOOD BEAMS:

bws = standard
bwd = weathered
bwj = bamboo
bwn = frozen
bwm = mossy
bwt = tribal
bwc = decorated
bwv = charred

02 - STONE BEAMS:

bss = standard
bsd = sandstone
bsj = jungle
bsn = frozen
bsm = mossy
bst = tribal
bsc = decorated
bsv = volcanic

03 - IRON BEAMS:

bis = standard
bid = rusted
bij = viny
bin = icy
bim = mossy
bit = rusted viny
bic = steel
biv = ashed

The names are the same for the HORIZONTAL BEAMS. The only difference is their positions on the X and Y axis.

You two are funny! ('SSTG and timestable'... The Wizard's Magic (get a spell checker), was hilarious and really, the bomb barrel basically never moved physically, only an optical delusion as you had an abnormally long element which messes with Joey's code so it moved the barrel (sight only) and as well, you planted the king in the barrel. In my level with the volcano manor or whatever it was called, I had to place the wood matchstick in the editor or it would have never stuck as I added the rest of the pieces.

This is the challenge - to find the glitches, confuse the morons in the PE, wreak havoc in the empire and die with all your riches piled upon your rotting corpse (of course, only to be stolen by the British later). Ha ha ha ha ha! I kill myself!

Experimenting with a vertical steel beam. I duplicated the entire line "bic,470,550,0.5,3,0" separated by a coma (the whole thing inside a bracket and following the "c". I went from this:

Changing the second last number in the pbx gives the exploding barrels odd behaviour. As you can see I haven't found a good use for this yet, apart from making things look bizarre.

That's bloody hilarious!

I had a similar weird thing happening when I tried changing the height and width of an arch. When I hit settle all the arches disappeared except for one that stood in the air. I tried to create something funny out of it but the people kept dying.

It seem that we can only modify the beams and the terrain. All the rest of the building material and the people can't be modified without resulting in something strange. I tried to recreate the wheel using only the prince and when I hit settle, the result was ridiculously funny but as soon as I tried to play they all died.
