the 3DS is an amazing achievement in technology, but ask yourself this: "Wasn't the wii too? The wii that everyone hates?" I mean, it looks cool, but it's gonna be a piece of garbage for how much it's gonna be.

wow really 3DS techinclly isnt a another DS.

DS->3DS = gameboy->gameboy advance

new generation, better graphics, everything better. (exept it has no game boy or game boy advance slot )

Buying it, definantly. I've been dreaming of when they'd make 3d games, then Avatar came out and life became so much closer to that dream.. Now it's starting to happen!! Virtual reality suits anyone??

nah, what nintendo are doing is sticking different things on different ds. ill just wait till an all-in-one or something like that

I might get it because of the remakes of the old games. What still pisses me off is the lack of backwards compatability.

The graphics are spectacular for a handheld system.

The OoT remake and Paper Mario 4 have... pretty much sealed the deal for me. Unless it costs as much as a Console on release tho. Then I'll wait.

But I am pissed at the no backwards compatibility or GBA slot. At least I still have my old DS and GBA I guess.

Meh it looks the same to me, once you jailbreak a ipodtouch it can run n64, gba, gbc, snes , nes, I think you get the point. The ipod touch 8gb maybe even 16gb will be cheaper that the 3ds.

Well, the 3DS could show 3D images without the client requiring to wear glasses. But the GBA era ended, so there's no backward compatibility. I think you're sorta better off with the DSi.

it could be worth it but i think you should get a psp go

not worth it. 3d doesnt necessarily mean better.

just play on your gamecube or wii if you want to play good nintendo games. dont walk around with them.
