This is a bit of a forum game, but at the same time it has the capacity to result in a bit of poetry, so it goes here. I'm going to supply a line of poetry, and the following poster is to create a poem using the line I gave as their first. Along with their poem, they supply a line for the next person to write poetry on. No restrictions on the type of line or poetry; just keep the line open ended.
A few steps down the road, Warm brilliance behold, Smiling faces and gentle waves, Her skin was milky white and hair of gold, If not her, then whom? If not me, then who? Affectionate wind that outlines her body; Seemingly frivolous droplets of dew, Evanescent, Yet much needed, Never relinquishing her sapphire eyes, Thus cold hearts concede, And all the more l'amore, Keeping pristine until snowed, For wonderment will always be, at least, A few steps down the road.
The first line to poetry, like a seed to grow a tree, from simple roots, simple words, grow to hold up thoughts and birds. from the ground into the sky, go earthy things held up high. like water to start this tree, each line aft is artistry.
I can't believe this. Now you're gone, and what beauty is there for me to see in a world with only a tombstone in your name? -- What made up your mind?
