This is a bit of a forum game, but at the same time it has the capacity to result in a bit of poetry, so it goes here. I'm going to supply a line of poetry, and the following poster is to create a poem using the line I gave as their first. Along with their poem, they supply a line for the next person to write poetry on. No restrictions on the type of line or poetry; just keep the line open ended.
Oh dammmm... I had a poem to post but got sidetracked by Parsat's Digest thread and now look. I don't like writing gothic style poems so Hyper's first line still remains, I just want to post the poem I'd written for the previous line.
I forgot I existed, I couldn't see me at all. For infront of the mirror, Stood a girl oh so small.
And her eyes, they were blackened, And her fingers were bone, And she looked so afraid, So forlorn, so alone.
As she shook her tiny head, So miniscule for her age, Her tattered clothes swung, From her prominent ribcage.
And when the girl noticed me, And screamed as loud as she could, I knew the girl was an echo, Of my early childhood.
A plane passes overhead Crashing into clouds of red The ocean fastly turns to black Draining daylight like a snack The twinkling dregs light the sky Embellishing my apple pie
In my deepest dreams, It seems, I'm in love with you. In my heart, I know You though, you are not for me. Loneliness it seems, By dreams, seeds a want for you. Yet, I still feel, though, You know I want you with me.
