This is a bit of a forum game, but at the same time it has the capacity to result in a bit of poetry, so it goes here. I'm going to supply a line of poetry, and the following poster is to create a poem using the line I gave as their first. Along with their poem, they supply a line for the next person to write poetry on. No restrictions on the type of line or poetry; just keep the line open ended.
The snow drifted down, powdering the land. Going to strand's, covering up all sand. People's death caused by an avalanche, They would never get back, to a ranch. Two young children, somehow survived. Clinging on to a cliff, for their lives. One of the children, had then fallen. The other, his name he was calling. He then said; my friend is now dead. If I live, I will definitely lose my head. These are the last word's I will ever speak. And now, my life will end, ending bleak.

Just leave it alone So I can figure This out on my own. I don't need you Every step of the way I do this for everyone To keep them at bay. ____

What Have I done you ask? Why do I put up a wall? Hide behind a mask? I'm a beast, To say the very least.
I murdered that poor family. Mutilated the mother. Her 2 sons. Fathers probably still rotting there, I slit his his throat, I didn't care.

The sunlight dapples the river bed As reeds sway in a lazy summer breeze And fish jump for the mayflies The sun shines on me Laying on the banks of the Mississippi I regret nothing!
