This is a bit of a forum game, but at the same time it has the capacity to result in a bit of poetry, so it goes here. I'm going to supply a line of poetry, and the following poster is to create a poem using the line I gave as their first. Along with their poem, they supply a line for the next person to write poetry on. No restrictions on the type of line or poetry; just keep the line open ended.
Resurrecting the first line song It is harder than it seems I've nothing to rhyme with song, Oh wait! A bong. We're making a song? I'll use the bong. Making a song With a bong I keep going on With this bong song The song is getting long.. I'll just stop the song. ~break for bong~ Now is the end of the first line song! _____
Knick knack paddy-whack, And a knock knock on my shack. A stick stuck to my back, A quick quack and a duck attacks, My stick struck with a heavy whack, To that tricky duck I'll be no snack.
PS, I have no idea of what knick knack paddy-whack is supposed to be, so I just assumed it was gibberish.
A faint dim light seen from the shoreline, Taking no notice, I walk around the beach, Looking for a very close friend of mine, Just hoping, that I can hear his screech.
Looking out upon the shore again, My friend screams out in delight, I finally see my dear, dear friend, Reunited, by a dim faint light.
