This is a bit of a forum game, but at the same time it has the capacity to result in a bit of poetry, so it goes here. I'm going to supply a line of poetry, and the following poster is to create a poem using the line I gave as their first. Along with their poem, they supply a line for the next person to write poetry on. No restrictions on the type of line or poetry; just keep the line open ended.
Sticky notes cover the page, Written by the wisest sages, All you need to know, they can reveal, You shall not annoy, misbehave or steal, Yet these words of advice fall on deaf ears, People tend to hear, what people want to hear, And almost every visiting guest, Think that they know best, What kind of insight could they possibly gain? To read all that, that would be insane! About what the notes say, they simply don't care, And they proceed to ask, "Halo or Modern Warfare?"
why do we live? Our lives are filled with endless pain; mentally physically, why be put through this? Is it even worth living with no reason at all?
Or maybe there is some purpose to our lives. Something to live for; a reward after death. Perhaps it's some unseen being that is what makes this life worth living.
