Sexual addiction is a pattern of sexual behaviours that are out of control and continue despite negative consequences. As in other addictions, changes in brain chemistry are at the core of the addiction. In sex addiction, the changes are caused by sexual behavior and fantasizing about sex or romantic activities. Sex addiction is a process addiction because no chemicals are taken into the body. Chemical changes occur in the body because of the addicts behaviours. Any sexual activity that causes changes in body chemistry can become and addiction. Even on-line romances become addictive when they are a substitute for reality or a way to escape reality.

Like I said here before, Sexual Addiction is over activity with your Sexual Libido. If a man, the scent, sight, voice, and even feel of a woman will make them...want to have a private chat, dot dot dot. The same is for women, except, with men. Then there is a complete shift, homosexuality. Man is "Excited" by man. Woman...is "excited" by woman.

true... i will try and do that more often... it was late and i was ready to go to sleep so I just got my point out as fast as i could and did little to no research for that moment... i was just going off of what was discussed last semester and found something that looked close to what i was talking about and was done and slept. and i agree with you... over stimulation of the libido is what causes the addiction
I forgot to add though, the over stimulation is caused by a disorder. This disorder causes the addiction. Admittedly I've been told this by my therapist, not going any further.
