First, Russia, the Muslims, the US, and China will battle-it-out with nukes. Then, Canada will unleash their hidden underground army and finish WW3. But then, SPARTA! No matter what anyone else says, Sparta will come back and claim victory with their shields, swords, and spears. The END.
Nobody would win. Realistically speaking, Russia isn't even a socialist nation anymore. It is a parliamentary "democracy" with heavy roots to many corporations if anything.
And to be realistic, I doubt any our current world powers, China and the now slowly weakening, but albeit strong despite economic hardship, the United States of America. You have to look at the relationship these nations share.
The facts with Israel and Iranian conflict, Iran would win on the sole fact, disregarding nuclear weaponry, is the fact they have far more allies. If the United States was not able to support Israel, Israel would be grinded faster then you could **** on toast and say vamos.
In the end the real victors are those who survive. And ironically I think these would be nations without much affiliations to any of these nations. This basically means quite a few African and South American countries would be more stable then the rest of the world. Not by much, but by quite a bit. Europe relies on Russia for oil, and Europe itself is in decline economically due to poor averaging in the EU and large amounts of debt. They would be knocked out of the picture quickly as well due to their NATO connections. China would have problems considering they are economic partners of the United States and various other nations, and the Middle East would be torn apart by war with Israel and any American troops. People seem to still have a cold war stance regarding the US and Russia. The reality is quite different. Allies is for certain not it, but enemies? I think not.
China is probably the biggest economic partner the US has, it being its source of cheap labour and one its biggest suppliers of product. So after all this I come to my original conclusion. Sparse African nations and a few South American ones. If weapons of mass destruction are involved, I.E Nukes, Biological warfare etc, were all dead.
Doesn't matter who wins. according to Einstein, WW4 will be fought with sticks and stone. Obviously the world will not have much left.
I agree. To have a WW3 would only show how greedy and selfish we can be. Instead of working together to make our world better, greed would blind us into making a foolish decision that leaves no winner.

I know that it is hard to believe, but Israel has one of the strongest and most technologically advanced militaries in the world. I wouldn't count them out so quickly.
Well surely the firsyt question is who would fight who? We can speculate sure, it will never be that accurate, NO ONE would have predicted a war where Britain and France were on the same side ten years before WW1
If there is a WW3, I can say without a doubt that the USA and China will be the biggest players and, unfortunatly, based on differing viewpoints, there is a good chance they wont be on the same side.

If you really believe that then you're a total moron, yes if there were some WW3 TODAY then that might be one of the situations. You don't know when/if WW3 will ever happen, America could be a smoldering crater in the ground by that time, China could have fired itself into space. You. Just. Don't. Know.

I never said Israel had a weak military. For how small their nation is, I find they are quite a force to be reckoned with and were very admirable in how they managed their economy. How they managed human rights is a different story altogether. But even so a nation like Israel against many nations with rather experienced armed forces, Iran, Jordan, Turkey, Syria and Saudi Arabia, and possibly even Egypt, and Iraq if it recovers, there is no way they could hold off all that alone.
