Did you know that an octopus named Paul guessed almost all the winners of the games in the world cup? He got like 7 games right in a row. I think thats pretty awesome. What do you think?
A great idea just hit me, lets ask Paul the Octopus if the world is ending on 2012.
Actually, I saw something about people asking him relationship advice and such after he went 8/8 with WC predictions. -- He's been doing this for a long time lol, but no one really knew until this world cup
I think he already made predictions for Germany in the european football cup two years ago, but there he was wrong on one match (OH NO!) Btw I believe Paul already has a cult, although this might be his secret identity.. already heard of the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Both more or less edibel and multilegged XD
there were probably a thousand animals on the planet doing the same thing as paul the octupus. There is always a chance that one of those animals gets them all right. Its just coincidence.
I started following Paul when I discovered he had guesses all the first-round games correctly, and it proved to be quite a bit of entertainment. It really is remarkable that an animal could that, from an odds standpoint. I'm not aware of him doing any other prediction work, but if he did I'd be right there watching.
I don't like it that the octopus was right... I thought holland should win!:O but that's because i'm a dutch girl hehe... But it's very funny that almost everyone was relying there statement that spain would win based on a octopus
