Did you know that an octopus named Paul guessed almost all the winners of the games in the world cup? He got like 7 games right in a row. I think thats pretty awesome. What do you think?

I heard that they might have been biasing. The oysters in the tanks may have been prepared differently, and the flags on the boxes might have made different appeal effects on Paul or something.

Well that's just according to the media, and I think we all know it's not a good idea to trust them on everything.

Anyway, the whole thing is fun to think about and is entertaining, but that octopus in no way has the ability to consciously predict the winners or sports events.

Even if it was biased that wouldn't change a thing.... The ones putting the oysters wouldn't know who was gonna win the game anyways...He is a psychic and he RETIRED.

Well, i don't think he can really see the future. I mean, at some matches you can clearly see who is better.
And an octopus who can look in the future??? they evenly don't know the difference between two flags!

All they can see is the contrasting hue. Since Paul was used to picking Germany every single match he picked Spain, which had the same colors as Germany.

LOL... It's the media that spreads the word about a psy-ocutpus... Come on! Wake up! An Octopus has no conciousnous... how could it ever look in the future, without the knowledge about even the singlest thing as a ball... Think about that for a change, instead of blindly following the media.

By the way, once again, Paul guesses the finals of the europe cup WRONG
