Yeah you guys made some good points but I don't think WW3 will be either over the Moon or over Mars... there is WAY more than enough space for each country on those planets.
Either depopulation or resources... The next war, will be when U.S.A. desides, its time for another killingspree, when they want Irans oil as well.

In the end it all boilds down to money....So oil, most likely. China and the U.S.A may go to war with one another being that by the time oil starts running low they will be the superpowers. Russia has a lot a resources like oil, gas etc so may not enter the war but due to Russia being bordered by China I think the Chinese horde would most likely invade Russia. Europe would probaply start working together IDK. But pretty soon nukes would start flying.
Nukes are meant to be a detterent. the only people that would fire these WMDs would either be insane or pissed off. once the first one is flying the whole world fires them... i don't know wether a country that has no nukes would be fired at..
