I saw this topic about burnt to death or freeze to death and i thought, what would you choose, no arms or no legs?

I would choose no arms, because you can still walk and run, but it's very difficult because people have to help you a lot, you can't wash yourself without your arms..

Either way i think it's very unpleasant..

Well then until you find proof, your argument is considered null and void.

I saw this a long time ago, I just forgot the name of it.
So I have the proof, I just "lost" it.

Endorphins are neurotransmitters produced in the brain that reduce pain. They also induce euphoria.
Drugs such as morphine, heroine and cocaine are classic endorphin-releasing entities.

Thanks for that, so morphine, heroine, cocaine, actually induce the release of endorphins?

They induce the release of imitative (not natural) endorphin-like substances.
Also it is believed that morphine and heroin combine with the endorphin receptors in the brain, resulting in reduced natural endorphin production. As a result, the drugs are needed to replace the naturally produced endorphins and addiction occurs.

Ah, I wonder why not just find a way to natural increase production of endorphins so that we don't have to use morphine...

Exercise, sex and even eating chili peppers are natural ways to raise the production of endorphins.
I don't think that persons who need morphine can do any of these.

I would chose to have no legs. I love my arms, they help me eat, and write, and punch.

I meant a natural stimulant, that could be delivered to the patient intravenously and increase the production of natural endorphins.

No legs. If you add some good stumps then you don't need the feet very much.
