With so many useless and repetitive threads around here, it is so hard to get any decent threads that will last a long time. There are some, however, that do make it, but there really aren't that many at all since so many are useless.
Just wondering why everyone comes up with topics that are the same as a few pages back (can't you check?), and why only few can make it to the popularity stage, and why do they make it there?
Yeah, nowadays people would make a thread and then got it locked for too many spams. Really nice if there is a good thread that could at least stay on the front page for 3 weeks and then die slowly.
Besides the "This thread is currently about: _____", some other threads have lasted a while (not necessarily in the tavern). For instance there is the battle of the bands thread, which may be the longest non-forum game thread on AG. There is also the Classic rock bands world cup: 2010.
There's a lot of threads that have lived for a really long time without going so much as a page back that you guys are forgetting about...STICKIED THREADS!
