But you can't really ask for others opinion and get a straight answer, you'll just make that stupid argument "Xbox is better than PS3" and vice versa, console preference all depends on the user.. So you decide.

Well this is my experience with the 360. I got one when it first came out in like 2005. About 2 years in, got the red rings of death. Sent it in to get repaired, took them like 6 months, and the new one i got while i was waiting for my old one broke as well. The repaired one lasted for another year then broke. Got a final new one and it is the one that I currently use. Yes, my story is really shitty and possibly hilarious. I feel that Microsoft doesn't care what happens to their customers, hell scratch that, they don't give a shit. The games are fun, but most are better on PC (Like Oblivion). In my opinion, screw consoles all together.

Personally I don't see any purpose to a 360. Every game that is 'xbox only' is also available for PC, so if you have a decent computer then you can play all of those titles already. I use my PC and a gaming controller similar to that with the PS3 and XBox to play those games, and have a PS3 for my console and movies. After doing all the calculations it actually saves me quite a bit of money.

You need to give more details on what you want in your console to get a good answer. If you want better competition online and play FPS then go with the Xbox. If you play single player or want blu-ray go with the PS3. I have both and they each have their purpose, just like the Wii has a purpose too.

But yeah, I like the 360. I've got one, and it's been working fine for years now, so I really don't get why people say it breaks a lot, so yeah... There's my 2 cents.

well sure the xbox 360 is great i recomend it to anyone. however ps3 has alot more with it and i recomend that more.

ps3 has an internet browser on it, xbox doesnt
ps3 has bluray, xbox doesnt
ps3 has better graphics


i mean if you want an xbox go ahead but it will make you limited to what you can do on it. the playstation can do SOOOO much more while all you can do on the xbox is play games
