Ok so I will be a Freshman this year and school starts in about three weeks.
Today I went to Freshman Orientation, and was tired because I only got about three hours of sleep last night.( I go by central time) So I was think I am going to be really freaking tired, but no I was wide awake. Now the begginning of the orientation started out with a dance called the wiggalo. Please no questions.
Now the school is awesome and I love it but it's huge. Lots of secret hallways and staircases. So my question to you is... What was your Fish year like and if you haven't had it yet then what do you want it to be like? If you could go to a modern technologically involved high school would you, or would you go to a more traditional high school?
My school is desperate for funding, they charge you if you get a loaner shirt, or if you leave your school id at home, and this year they charged us for every little thing during book returns. I also had a studnet bill for 15 dollars, which I paid off during the first week, and in the middle of the school year they sent me a bill charging me again! I lost the receipt so I am going to have to pay it again.

I've never gotten in trouble at St. X you must have been really bad lawl. Mrs. Balderrama told me that I had to cut my hair though then we fighted(lawl I did that on purpose)
Hun its in the hand book that you wheren't supposed to have your hair like that and when you see Keon most of his hair styles wouldn't be approved if Mom didn't talk to Mrs. Balderrama
And I always get in trouble for sagging, wearing colored belts, Wearing colored socks and stuff of that sorts but I only get in BIG BIG trouble once a year

Your only supposed to where solid color white black and blue i believe And I always get busted for wearing the wrong colored belts and having them multi-colored and you still had to get a hair cut my bro hasn't had one in months
lol speaking of high school I JUST graduated. Man its great being graduated, NOT. lol its truthfully not as great as everyone made it out to be, I miss having to go to school every day and just get out of the house that way. But I had 2 free periods when I was still in, I slept in until 11 and then went to school, it was great.

My freshman year at high school wasn't so bad, and freshman year at high school isn't as bad as people imagine it. My school had something called the "Link Crew" and the "Link Leaders" whose main objective was to guide the newcomers throughout their first year of high school, run by juniors and seniors, overseen by faculty. I never signed up for link, so I didn't get a link leader so I was on my own my first year, but there weren't any upperclassman bad guys waiting to get me or anything.
If there really are such people at your school or if you're nervous on your first year, then stick with a group and make friends with the group. There's power in numbers, and badguys won't target you if you're part of that group.
Now, I'm (sort of) in your position right now, as I'm a freshman in college, which means you are seriously by yourself, unless you sign up for a club of some sort. You oversee your own responsibilities and activities in college, so at least be glad you're in a school where there are faculty members that can help you.
high school is wierd, my advice, pick a group, hate them, pick another group, love them, or jsut study, and go home, or get into sports, or have sex with a teacher and get a's that way. all in all, not that bad at all, just DON'T DO DRUGS!!!!!! at all costs. and make sure you ditch atleast once, have your friend call you in, and goof off, but only in winter.
