We're not supporting god because there is nothing to support. And this doesn't say we're against him, because to be against something, there has to be something, and this is not the case.
therefore, we start existance in the mind, and go from there, and if in your mind God exists, then He exists.
This only means he exists in your mind, that does not in the slightest say he exists beyond it. I know god as a human thought construct exists, but this isn't the god everybody is preaching to.

Again imagination DOES NOT equate to reality. I can imagine you as a magic talking turnip, but that doesn't mean that when you look in the mirror you will see a magic turnip, because it's not real. It's nothing more then a product of my imagination and has no baring on the existence we experience. When we say something exists this is in the context of something independent of our own imagination. Claiming it exists just because we imagine has no baring on reality and makes the concept of existence moot.
Thinking about it even if we are to use this skewed concept of existence many claim we can't fully comprehend God, you know can't imagine him. So even by this bs definition God does not exist.

So Zeus, Athena, Apollo, Dionysus, Nike, Ganymede, Charon, Hades, Poseidon, etc. all those Greek gods, they exist because the scripture of them is ancient? Or how about Jupiter, Pluto, Neptune, Mercury, etc. the Roman gods...do they exist because the writings that speak of them are just really, really old? Or what about the Egyptian gods like Horus, Set, Bast(she does rock), Isis, Thoth...do they exist? All religions have scriptures. But what you need to understand is that many scriptures are just what some ancient dude wrote down when he got bored.

No, we are on the disbelief end of the spectrum, somewhere in the middle. You are in the pro-god section, to the left. People who are anti-god believe in God, but are against him, they're to the right. And by the way, you need to learn how to spell indifferent.

Nope, atheism isn't a religion, it's a lack of belief. It's like saying just because you don't believe in the Spaghetti Monster you should be a member of the Church of Non-Spaghetti Monster. It doesn't work like that.
There was no official scripture in Roman or Greek religion, there was no "official path" or orthodoxy so to speak. There were writings about the gods, but they were nothing like the bible/qur'an.
What I meant was there were writings, like a story book if you will, which I will construe as scriptures. Greek and Roman religion is less like a religion and more like a belief in that there's not like a church and there is no official doctrine or anything like that...everybody just believed in the gods, that's all.
