This is not about whether or not he was the son of God but whether he actually existed.Most atheists agree that he did live but there are some who don't so what are you're thoughts?

Really? I guess that's where we differ - If I'm proven wrong then I will be A. Surprised and B. Happy to accept the new information as long as I have adequate levels of actual proof to back it up.
I had a thread set up on this subject a while back. (have to see if I can find it) Turned out that the Biblical Jesus was possibly based off a real person or was a compiled story. There was also evidence of a previous story of another man who followed a very similar life as the Biblical Jesus that may have influenced the story of Jesus or the real Jesus.
yeah, it didn't really make a whole lot of since that he came around when he did. why would he not come now? its like ICP and the whole carnival coming thing, on a larger scale. i knew tons of kids who got way into ICP and thought the clowns were a diety of some sort. it was nuts, but after the last joker card was played, then nothing happened, they were like oh shit :O, facepalm, then moved on. im not sayin he didn't exist, but it wouldn't make sense if he was who the bible says he was.
Jesus was a real person because he appears in different religions, he was not godly though, he simply was a regular person ,like you and i, only Christianity claims Jesus to be Christ. Jesus was jewish, and in the jewish religion they say that Jesus was, like i said, just a man.
