From what I've heard it looks like there is gonna be a big swing in Congress towards republican. This might not go down well for Obama - things might become stale if he can't get stuff done.

Well I have heard many democrats are trying to unalign themselves with Obama as a result of his unpopularity so that might save the democrats a little.

I'm against them both, to a very strong degree. They both need to die.

Though it won't hurt to see every last incumbent get their a**es booted out of both houses.

You say still, I say saved. Obama is manipulative and he is all for big government. Our government is currently too big, it has too much power. I dislike republicans and democrats, but I support small government before personal liberties, which is why I would rather have a republican in office than a democrat.

It's easier to fix laws that attack personal liberties than laws that control businesses. When Republicans screw up, you can fix their mistakes with a little more ease than when Democrats screw up.

Personal liberties is important to me, however, so I am libertarian. Free market, free minds. Freedom for the people through lack of government control, not through control.

Let me guess, your pro-koran burning and liked Bush's segment of the Iraq War. >_<

Republicans take away our freedoms. wiretapping, spying, intolerant of others cultures... the list gos on.

Republicans use the guise of "small government" to limit restrictions on laws that prevent them from doing away with unmoral things. Majority of GOP leaders have their hands in large corporations, so... wouldn't make sense for them to pass laws making their companies richer?

No comprendo Senor.

Anarchy doesn't work with the level of complexity in our civilization. You can join the folks down in the backwoods who want to secede form the "evil" "commie" US.

Once I was on a thread and a dude said he was going to laugh at republicans when democrats kick our buts in November and I just started laughing.

In a sense, this is true. I should be more specific. Republicans allow more economic freedom.

Libertarianism isn't anarchy. You have a government, it's just smaller.

I read in a book once there was a quote by the leader of the communist party in America and he said that Americans will never except socialism under the name socialism but they will if you call it liberal.
