In modern America, the Bill of Rights along with ( i think) the other 13-15 amendments i believe are too vague, especially the Bill of Rights. The wording seems too outdated, and the translated meanings generalized...

should the Bill of Rights be rewritten to set much more clear standards??

and another, using the Amendments to protect against felony. So does the Constitution/Bill of Rights overrule everything that is the US justice system???

school shootings

The Columbine shooters committed multiple felonies under the National Firearms Act and the Gun Control Act of 1968. Were more laws going to make them change their minds?

Stem the flow and guns become harder to get for anybody - including criminals.

This never worked well for drugs, what makes you thing it will be different for guns?

Really? Self-defence classes teach you how to overpower somebody who's a fair bit stronger than you. Beefing up is beefing up - you'd be able to split them up easily. And quite frankly, using guns as a solution to something that doesn't require intervention through guns is just shameful. There would have been countless other ways to stop it and you pulled a gun - bit of overkill there.

It is completely ilogical and has been proven several times that citizens with guns can effectively defend themselves.

Shooting and/or threatening to shoot other people is not a civil way to deal with any problem.

Thieves and murderers aren't famous for their civil manners.

Dude are you kidding me.You can take defense classes all you want but the risk of injury or death is much higher than being able to defend yourself with a gun.

And the criminals are being civil?

It proves that certain people should have no right to bear arms when they're using them to bully and threaten other people like that!

Sure there are some people who shouldn't but there are much more people who should.

You agree then that some people shouldn't? Which means you're in favour of gun control.

Moar guns = moar people using them.
Guns should be illegal everywhere, there is basically no major gun crime in the UK, probably 'cos not any old red neck can carry a gun.

'Oh noes we can't protect ourselves'
All the people who have pulled guns on you probably have a license for theirs too, and didn't get it illegally, if they couldn't get a license and a gun, most of the problems solved
And if you mean someone threatens you just with a fight or fists, go learn boxing, MMA or something.

Yeah there are some people who shouldn't have guns but our current laws are the closest you can get to restricting them from people who shouldn't have them while not taking them away completely.

Most crimes are done by gangsters and inner city folk not rednecks.

Sure they probably have a license but if have gun control they will stil get guns illlegaly.

Illogical when you can use a gun. Why the heck would you risk your life by fighting someone when you can pill out a gun and not even have to shoot the person.
